We specialise in sales, property management and residential lettings, mortgage advice, and cover a wide geographical area including the villages and suburbs between Bedford and the M1. We're proud to have been serving the Bedford area since the year 2000, offering a wide range of properties for sale and to rent, not only in Bedford but also in Kempston, Wootton, Ampthill and Flitwick. Owners and Bedford residents Shahid Miah and Habib Rahman bring years of experience in retail banking and property management. The partners have built their own property portfolio and are strongly committed to helping others to do likewise, by combining entrepreneurial flair, local knowledge and a passion for customer service. Our main areas of business are residential sales, lettings and property management, property investment and mortgage advice. The office is located on St Loyes Street in the heart of the town centre and just a short walk from the train station. At Martin & Co Bedford we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service. Our team provide our customers with support, advice throughout the whole process with a dedicated point of contact and regular property updates on the sale or let of your home. We recently won The British Property Lettings Award for Bedford. The team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period, which focused on customer service levels. Martin & Co Bedford has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced shortly. In 2021, Martin & Co Bedford acquired local independent businesses Compass Lettings and Gateway Lettings adding to their already extensive portfolio of properties. GoogleWhen asking about the possibility of accepting a tenant on housing benefit, expect a hard no. They will not talk to you like a human or care about your situation - and there are many of us currently struggling due to the virus. Poor customer service and very unhelpful.NegativeProfessionalism

FacebookAs a new tenant to Martin & Co I have to say that the service has been excellent. with a couple of minor questions / issues the response and resolution has been very quick. Michelle and her colleagues are always polite and very helpful.

This review doesn't quite tell the full story. When this gentlemen called the office, our colleague explained that for security reasons we seek to establish some information from interested parties, such as name and address etc, in order to arrange a property viewing. This ensures we know who our employees are meeting at the property. This infuriated Dave, who quickly became extremely abusive - as the abuse persisted, the call was subsequently terminated. Note: At no point was Dave asked for bank account details. The following day, a lady called the office and identified herself as Dave's Mother. Dave's Mother kindly conveyed her apologies to a member of staff for her son's behaviour the previous day and supplied the relevant information to arrange a property viewing. Footnote: Dave is also responsible for the previous review, the comments were made using the alias 'The Amsterdam Filmmakers'
