Justin demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the property and the local market, and his communication was consistently clear, timely, and reassuring. While Campbells were trying to sell my property I was contacted twice asking for my identification. I told them that my identification was photographed three months ago when they took pictures for the listing. I asked them to check that they still have this important personal confidential information But it took them three weeks to come back and tell me. During this time it was very stressful not knowing whether my identification had been lost. This is very important as someone with this information can cause me severe problems. I think three weeks is excessive to check if this information is still in place. Also, they took the picture of my identification, so why was it not readily available or marked on their system that I had supplied it? As the data controller of my information, they must know if they have my identification paperwork or not Also A buyer liked my property and Campbells asked me for a second viewing; I asked them if the buyers would make an offer as well. That was over a week ago and I’ve heard nothing at all - whilst I’ve been in limbo wondering if my house is going to be sold. My house is clearly not going to be sold to this buyer and the buyer is not coming for a 2nd viewing - but it would be lovely to be informed, wouldn’t it?

Buying a house can be a stressful experience, there can be highs and lows. Having a good agent on your side can smooth out those lows and Jackie was amazing. We found a property before we had put ours on the market. Justin came to see us and was so enthusiastic and confident he could find a buyer quickly. Sue was very easy to work with and portrayed our property so well in all the marketing literature. A buyer was found within a week of marketing and this enabled us to secure the property we had fallen in love with. Campbell's has all the hallmarks of a family run, old values, estate agents. I bought through them recently and can't sing their praises enough. I've moved from Essex, where getting hold of my estate agent was hit and miss to a cheerful, professional and communicative firm was a blessing. We all know how stressful moving can be. We have all heard how estate agents are low in the pecking order of professionals but, BUT, I found Campbell's to be the acme of what I hoped for. It has to be said that overall the standard of service in Sussex has been so much better than Essex in general. Campbell's have been head and shoulders again. If you haven't tried them yet I recommend that you do. Personally a lady called Jackie, saw me through the process of buying with her knowledge, straight up approach, doggedness and humour. Absolutely disgraceful agency. As a buyer, avoid at all costs! Would give 0 stars as a score if possible. The director was our point of contact and continued to show buyers around the property that we were in the active process of buying without our prior knowledge or consent- despite us paying a holding deposit, having the property valued and losing money in the process! He has orchestrated a situation where we were gazumped by new buyers that saw the property several months after ourselves, after the property was sold STC. The approach was unprofessional and dishonest, whilst aware of our pregnancy and we are now without a home to move to with a new baby on the way! Thanks.
