We have been working with Carter Jonas in Fulham (their office is at 361 Fulham Palace Rd) for over 5 years. Igor Simonov leads the team and Sam Jarvis helps us daily. They are very professional and very helpful. Very important for all landlords - and tenants as well for that matter - they are honest and trustworthy. Over the years we dealt with other estate agents, and were pretty much often discontent. I would highly recommend working with Carter Jonas, Sam, Igor and his team.

Renters beware

Rental property managed by this company on behalf of Hs2 on moving out half my deposit kept for issues not really fair, they wanted £20 for grass seed! As the lawn had died just one petty example, trying to get repairs done is difficult, they send individuals round who haven’t a clue, bodge job fix with promises to come back then never do, then charges on the tenant for issues that wouldn’t have arisen had the repairs been completed fully. The excuse - it wasn’t reported. Well have they tried their website?? Jobs reported but not actioned for weeks, when the emails are finally read, it’s all about the money and not the customers (renters). Would strictly not rent a property managed by this company ever again. They are not there for the tenants but solely to make money and for their landlords. Rented all my life moved a few times and always got all my deposit back in full. Until now.

Deliberately trying to put off tenants with pets

I am trying to rent somewhere and have a dog. The new Renters Rights Act should make it easier, but Carter Jonas do the opposite. I was told today that they have a 'huge backlog of pet requests and it's taking around 1.5 months to get permission from a building manager' so no point even asking. Surely that's something that can happen in principle before a property is marketed? I believe they are using delays and unhelpfulness as a way of continuing to exclude tenants with pets.

Sam & Igor at the Fulham branch

Sam & Igor at the Fulham branch. There are not enough words in my vocabulary to put into the words the lengths and the help these two lads where in helping us first of all find a place and to them completing all referencing at such a fast pace to get us moved ASAP. These guys are not only professional but personable. Their warm enchanting nature put any of our doubts at easy. You could tell they both genuinely wanted to do the most they possibly could and they did exactly that and more. I am generally a level headed calm collected peaceful being but with this being a stressful process, that went out the window but thankfully I had both Sam & Igor to keep my head out of the sandbox. These guys are a complete asset to the business and if i controlled the powers that be I’d have these guys at the top of the Carter Jonas cooperate ladder - they went above and beyond. It would be an insult to them to even put them in the same sentence let alone category as any previous experience with agencies before these two absolute legends. Ask for Sam & Igor.
