My experience with William H Brown was a nightmare. 1. The pictures of the apartment I wanted to rent was completely different from what was on the website. The apartment was a total let down 2 . I was pressured to make a withholding deposit, which at the time I was not aware that it was non refundable. 3 . Immediately after making the payment, informed the agent that I don’t like the apartment and not sure if I wanted, mind you all of this was on a Saturday, so by Monday morning I called to cancel and requested my deposit back, and that was when the horrific situation began. 4 Both the agents and the landlords are extremely unreliable, the lies they tell. 1 month after am yet to receive my deposit.🫤🫤🫤

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

Genuinely can not recommended the team at William H Brown enough. They we really do go the extra mile and have been absolutely fantastic in all aspects. Sarah and Robbie did most of the work on our move and they have worked so hard on our behalf. Freya and Nicola were also always happy to help with any queries and questions even whilst being terrorised by a excited toddler. I would suggest to anyone looking at their mortgage options to at least speak with Grace, chatty, personable and very efficient. Collectively they have made the entire process as easy as house hunting can ever be, and have great rapport and keep you bang upto date with aspects. I have recommended to freinds and family and 100% they would be my first choice every time. As foot note recently used the servive to remortgage 5 years on and Tom is fantastic. He kept us update with great communication, personally going the extra mile to make sure that we were informed every step of the way. Great customer service, thanks Tom!

We were recommed to make an appointment with Tom Hill (Mortgage advisor) by a friend to sort out our mortgage , Tom was fantastic, he was very informative and talked us through each step of the process when buying our first home, he was always easy to contact , and always responded to our messages and it was easy to arrange a phone call with him when needed He deffo went above and beyond and we really appreciated all the help he provided and made the whole process a lot smoother The team at William H brown were also very helpful, always greeted us with a smile and helped us with sorting paper work that need to be filled out and sent off Overall they all provided a great service and we would definitely work with Tom again to renew our mortgage and work with the William H Brown team again if we ever wanted to sell

We bought our new home via William H Browne and I just wanted to say the service was fantastic, Robbie who shows us round was amazing he knew the answers to any of the questions we had and was very knowledgable about the property, any curveball ones we threw at him he got answered and got back to us straight away. After our offer was accepted our case was passed into Liz and she was also amazing, answering and chasing all solicitors in the chain for us. I would highly recommend William H Browne to anyone and I’m sure they give the same great service to their clients selling. Great team highly recommend.

I would not trust these people

I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

All I can say is they are shocking

All I can say is they are shocking. They have a brilliant sales pitch to get you hook on using them to sell your property then once you agree the service they provide goes downhill from there. 99% of the viewings are time wasters as they are not vetted before viewing that they are even interested or proceedable to purchase. They promise open house viewing days but have never once done anything like that. Communication is poor and I'm always chasing them for everything. You get sent offers you accept them then they say the buyer has lowered their offer will you accept it.

Not often i write reviews, but just want to say a massive thank you to my mortgage advisor Tom Hill, i bought a property via auction and needed to complete within eight weeks, after seven weeks i still wasn't able to get one for the amount i needed, Tom came on the scene after being recommended by others and WOW, what this guy has done was fantastic. Sat, Listened, understood. His quick response, dedicated and work effort is secondary to none, thankfully after four days we had a mortgage in place and i was able to proceed.
