GoogleI previously had Gemma value my property back in January, unfortunately I thought there fees were a little higher to a competitor. I chose them, I was tied into a three month contract. I called Gemma after 6 months and three reductions. She worked quickly, along with the Sales manager Nicole who is amazing. They sold my house to a cash buyer in less than 24hours on the market.
I cannot recommend Gemma, Nicole and the team at Barrow enough. They have been great. Seriously don't just think it is cheaper to sell elsewhere because they are great at what they do.

The key word here is care, Alison cared, Alison was there helping and supporting. Any questions we had were answered immediately and if Alison didn’t know the answer she found the answer. We would have been lost without Alison’s care and support. Also another important point is that we were never made to feel we were being a pest or a nuisance or stupid or silly and I assure you we were all of these things and Alison took it all in her stride, calming us down. There are no words that we can say to fully appreciate how thankful we are to Alison. Another excellent skill that Alison demonstrated is how she interacted with us, putting us at ease, never being annoyed with our constant questions, talking to us in a way that we understood. Down to earth but still retaining total professionalism. The only negative is that we will miss our little chats as Alison is so easy to speak with. Farrell Heyworth have an absolute diamond in the team with Alison. GoogleDanny and Nicole were exceptionally helpful from start to finish, we lost two buyers due to no one's fault but they were helpful and got us re listed both times and sold out property in really quick time. I don't believe it was on the market longer than 2 weeks (approximately). Nicole was beyond helpful and empathetic, she tolerated my relentless moaning and complaining (not about Farrells) about the buyers that caused us issues. Farrels had a higher valuation than other local companies who all said "Farrells tend to be higher than everyone else and ultimately have to accept much lower offers". While the valuation statement was true, I accept 2.5k below asking first buyer, 5k below 2nd buyer, and 4k below for the final buyer that completed. All of those figures wer between 25k and 10k more than the other local companies valuations. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Gemma, who came to value the property, is an absolute star. There was no hard sell or pressure, but she’s so clearly at the top of her game when it comes to property knowledge and marketing that, despite having another agent booked to give us a valuation the next day, we were so sold by her enthusiasm and conviction that FH could sell it quickly that we agreed to market it with them. She wasn’t wrong, it sold in less than a week!
The photographer (Jonathan, lovely guy) took the photos, video and floor plan on the Monday, we approved them and it went live on Tuesday, we had the first viewing on Thursday, and we accepted an offer for the full valuation price on Friday.
The communication from the team in Barrow is also, so far, faultless, although it’s all happened so quickly that we haven’t spoken that much yet.
We obviously still have a way to go thru the contracts stages, but so far, we couldn’t be happier. Thank you Gemma and FH.

From the start of the process from engagement to receiving an acceptable offer the service has been fantastic.
Our valuer, Gemma was very good, providing an insight to the market from her wide experience of selling the in the area. Gemma's valuation enabled us to agree a sales price and engage Farrell and Heyworth as our agent.
Day to day support was provided by Nicole, she is brilliant, so helpful and knowledgeable giving us confidence that our sale was on track.
Libby was mainly responsible for viewings providing a lot of encouragement with her regular feedback. During the sales period we were nervous about the lack of offers, Nicole and Libby put our minds at ease, assuring us that our home was being marketed at the right price.
And a week or so later we had a viewing and offer for the full asking price in the same afternoon.
Nicole was so excited to inform us of the offer which we gleefully accepted. She is continuing support us with the sale until contract completion.
Nicole's advice to engage Premier Property Lawyers was great, so far our conveyancer has been a great help taking us soundly through the process.
