My mother has previously sold a house and bought an apartment through Winkworth's Barnet. And she is now selling the apartment and buying another house (personal reasons) through them (so 4 VERY POSITIVE transactions!!!). So she (we) have allot of experience working with them. They are nothing short of a pleasure to work with, particularly Matt and Nigel. They are completely honest, helpful, educated in their field, insightful, kind, respectful, reliable, on the ball and have your best interest at heart. And are all around trustworthy and decent men. You know you are in capable and upright hands and it takes so much of the pressure off. I would never hesitate working with them again and in recommending them to people. Please know they are really the top of their game and good people as well as estate Agents. You can have complete confidence in working with them and that is a true blessing!

My brother and I used Winkworth for the sale of our Mother's Barnet flat. Over time we worked with Paul, Nigel and Matt and found the service to be extremely professional and efficient. They have a long history and understanding of the local market. Communication is very good and the service personal but never pushy. We negotiated easily over all aspects of the sale. They were also able to provide very good suggestions for other services we needed in the area- garden maintenance, house clearance, solicitor etc. and were prepared to take on regular checks of the property which we couldn't do because of distance. We were initially with another estate agent who overvalued our property, after 5 months of no success (including dropping the price) we switched to winkworths (at this same price) Within less than 2 months the property had several viewings and was sold, even in this difficult market. Matt was very friendly, approachable and efficient. Nigel was also extremely helpful in keeping me upto date with the sale progression. In fact all my dealings with the office staff were positive. Perfect from start to finish I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Winkworth in High Barnet and in particular, Adam. Further, everyone else I dealt with have also been a pleasure...Matt (I think) and another girl I spoke with in the early days. Dealing with Adam has been a pleasure since the moment we met him. He has been nothing but the professional at all times. This sale has not been an easy process in many respects but it's happened and done so quickly. I feel Adam, has gone way beyond what was expected and has really made this process as painless as was possible. Nothing was ever too much and I never felt I was bugging him. I know I was, but he put up with my countless calls and emails anyway. He pushed where needed and when he could and I truly feel he has made the difference in getting this sale completed. In these digital times, people are more than ever, happy to complain whenever possible but when things go well not as much gets said. I'm the opposite and believe that praise is, when is praise is due and make sure someone knows about it. Winkworth High Barnet are amazing. List your house with another agent to your peril.
