GoogleGenerally poor management of the property and requiring a lot of chasing up.
Me and my flatmate rented for a year and three months. The boiler was not working well from very early on. It took over 70 emails back and forth and a lot of patience for it to finally be fixed just before summer time.
They also emailed requesting information repeatedly: information that was given and new emails were received requesting the same again and again.
To finish with bad communication - after we moved out we were scheduled for the check out on the last day of our tenancy which was a weekday, me and my flatmate took a day off and went to the property with our keys and waited for the agent to come in for the check out (as advised we would meet at the property) - 30 Min later and wondering where they were we contact them and they advised the person who was scheduled for this check out was unavailable as they weren't feeling well, which is fair enough but they could have let us know there and then that nobody was going to come.
We then took the keys back to the agency and we were told (in person and several emials) that they would carry out the check out the following day. This did not happen for a week, the report took longer than expected also, delaying our deposit to be send back into our account.
Generally, unsatisfied and we would not like to rent from them again. In any case, they offered to help finding a new property and after one email with three possible properties which did not meet the criteria specified, they contacted us no more until almost a month after moving out of the property to ask whether we would like to unsubscribe.
I do not recommend to rent from Moreland in Golders Green as management is very poor.NegativeProfessionalism

Thank you for your review, the points of which we have investigated.
I can confirm your check out had to be delayed due to a member of staff having Covid symptoms. Health & safety and government regulations meant a negative test result was required before any properties could be visited. You were informed that you did not need to be present for the check out. You were kept up to date when the property would be checked. Once the check out was carried out, DPS were instructed to release your deposit within 9 days of the end of your tenancy, as per legislation.
Your boiler underwent a number of visits to investigate issues, which were always attended to when you requested. It is not always straight forward to problem solve. We rely on tenants keeping us up to date with the situation hence the amount of correspondence.
With regards to offering you possible rental properties we had limited stock of which none were suitable to you. We cannot always find property for everyone, however we sent you what was within your budget.
I'm sorry if you feel we have fallen short of our high standards and am happy to discuss this further with you. I have already emailed you, if you are able to respond. Thank you, Moreland.

Moreland were by far the nicest, honest, responsive and professional team that we worked with. They even sent us a card when our son was born. I was very pleased when I was prospecting for a new flat that Moreland was the appointed agency! I was warmly welcome by Jay and he showed an infinite amount of patience on viewing the property (many times!), on liaising back and forth with the vendor and was very knowledgeable on the area, the property itself and even helped me to fill in info needed for my mortgage.
