Been dealing with Gemma Ward at Hampton for more than 6 months now and I honestly must say that she delivers an amazing job and service, prompt reaction and ideas to solve issues that you may encountered on a day to day basis in the chaotic world of landlords/properties. I would recommend her to any of the landlords seeking for a serious assistance and co-operation.

The E2E experience from being shown around the property we moved in to, right through to exiting has been an extremely poorly handled, disinterested and detached relationship from this office.The property was filthy when we moved in with the fridge freezer broken for the first 10 days of us being in the property, the agent took no responsibility at all to help in anyway with monies owed for over 18 months for food and groceries having to been thrown. We found out we had to leave the property via email only. For something as important as this, you'd expect a call at the very least with potential offerings of other properties to move into, if they were commercially minded at all, but no, just an email which could have easily been overlooked.This office in general and what appears to be the Hamptons approach/consensus is to side with landlords in all aspects with no back bone to support tenants who in all fairness, are paying absurd prices in this day and age.Avoid this office and chain of agents whenever you can.

We rent an apartment with Hamptons and now when we have some issues the company is ignoring us! They don't reply to my emails and never call back. So I am stuck with the issue I have and NOBODY replies. I sent emails to several employees, customer service, twitter - no reaction at all! I have no idea what to do now. Totally unprofessional. I think most of the good reviews here are FAKE. Beware.

I'm currently renting from Hamptons Marlborough and to date have had a pretty bad experience with their use of suppliers to carry out work, a simple toilet mechanism that was allegedly fixed using glue!!! And I am now in the 8th week of being without an oven, apparently because I gave too much notice as to when the oven could be fitted out is now out of stock. Seems like they do everything they can to penny pinch on repairs to maximise their profit

This is a rating for the letting and management service. Lettings service from the East Sheen branch is fine, they found tenants in a reasonable amount of time and getting contracts signed was straightforward. I would give lettings 4/5.However the property management service is incredibly poor and unprofessional given the 'prestige' of the Hamptons brand. I used this service for my rental property for two years and experienced a number of problems - simple maintenance issues taking multiple visits to resolve, contractors being poorly briefed, double or incorrect charges and unnecessary work being performed. Dealing with the service was painful for both myself and the tenants. I've now switched to an independent property management company and am getting a much more professional service. Moral of the story - avoid at all costs!

GoogleWe engaged Hetheringtons to sell our family home in Barnet and the service and support we received from them was excellent. They were in regular contact with us throughout the whole process and their advice and experience really helped us to make the right decisions along the way. They were very sensitive to my mother’s concerns (as she had been living in the house for 50+ years) and were always on hand to action any particular request we had, no matter how small. An especially big thankyou has to go to Mark Goss in particular for all his help and patience and we wish him and the whole team every success in the future.. If you are considering selling your home then I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Hetheringtons in Whetstone. They really did help take the stress out of selling our home.
