I recently moved into a property let by and managed by Dexters. One of the reasons I chose Dexters was because I thought I would be less likely to have issues with it being a larger company. However when I moved in there were a wide range of issues including mould, furniture that was supposed to be removed, broken appliances and blocked drains. Basic checks before I moved in would have identified these issues.

GooglePENNY AND LISA have been finding me tenants for my two unfurnished rental flats for about 20 years. All the tenants have been excellent, but the tenants for one of our flats has rented it for 8 years and is now buying the property, so that is a real godsend. I was reluctant to have the properties managed, but this year, I decided to let Penny and Lisa take control and I am delighted with their administration. Fabian is a recent addition to their workforce and he is exceptionally conscientious and pleasant. I would recommend this company without reservation. GoogleMy experience of Penny & Lisa has been exceptional. My friend and I wanted a 2 bed to move in together and initially met with Matt about a flat that we eventually didn’t get, which we were disappointed about. We didn’t think we’d hear further from Matt until a few days later when he emailed us about another beautiful place and offered us a viewing. The flat was gorgeous and just what we needed, and I don’t know what magic Matt did but we got it. He made the whole move in so smooth and is nothing but kind and helpful. Worst experience with the agency, I decided to move out the apartment earlier because living conditions were unbearable. As such early tenancy move outs require a penalty, I was told by an agent a sum and that it is a fixed amount regardless if they will find a new tenant or I will, the total sum stays the same.Come to find out 2 months later that this in fact was not true and I could’ve saved almost 2K if I found a tenant myself. Agent was denying ever saying those terms to me to the point it was easier to pay the sum than start the negotiations with big agency. Would not recommend to use them or be very careful with every communication and have it crystal clear via emails.
