Posted this review years ago (approximately 8 years!!!) but I literally just noticed that it was not published (I think due to a link I placed in the review). I have now deleted this link and reposted as this was my genuine experience at the time. Hopefully things are better there now. I am so relieved to find these reviews. It's just a shame I didn't find them before I signed up with Andrews. The previous review by Charlie Holloway is absolutely spot on! On the one hand it is a relief to discover that I am not alone in the God awful treatment that I have received from Andrews; even down to the specific staff mentioned - Avneet (totally incompetent) and Tara (uninterested, dismissive and negligent) and their failings. On the other hand, it is exceptionally disappointing that many members of the public are having to endure this level of poor service, whilst Andrews continue with impunity. They have lied to me, misquoted the law and generally been very arrogant when challenged about their indisputable errors and failings. In addition, the constant primary school standard spelling and grammatical mistakes lead me to question the standard Andrews requires of it's staff. Like Charlie Holloway (and I suspect many others) it truly has been one of the most stressful years of my life too! I echo everything that Charlie Holloway stated (below), and sadly one year after his review nothing has changed, apart from the departure of Anne who (despite numerous complaints about her) only retired last year. Interestingly, when I first approached Andrews 3 years ago to make enquiries, I spoke to Anne on the phone. I too found her to be incredibly condescending and as a result did not go back to Andrews until last year when Tara answered the phone. Once again, I am shocked to recently discover that MANY others unfortunately had a similar experience with Anne. I also strongly believe that the landlords are not being made aware of issues and / or are being provided with inaccurate and delayed information, thereby causing misunderstandings between landlord and tenant, neither of whom is in the position to actually know what and when things are being said or done (or not). I initially thought I was alone, because some reviews make them sound amazing! However I now understand that the problem is with their management services. They will initially lay on plenty of charm and feign professionalism (Tara & Jack) in order to sign you, then if you are in the unfortunate position of renting a property that they are responsible for managing, will leave you in the incapable hands of Avneet. This is where the horror story begins. When people are silent on these issues, incompetent staff and the company management who turn a blind eye, continue to deceive, disappoint and put unsuspecting members of the public out of pocket. It is not right! I recently commenced the official complaint process and will revisit this site to update on how it is (or not) handled.

We had a brilliant experience with Andrews (Bear Flat). From our first meeting with Emily I knew we were in safe hands, she clearly had a great understanding of the market & set realistic expectations whilst also aiming to get the best price & more importantly the best buyer for our property. She was enthusiastic & always on the end of the phone should we have any queries or questions. The rest of the team matched her enthusiasm & patience. Special shout out to Sophia & Keith too. We sold our property within a week & also had an offer accepted on our dream property. The process took less than 3 months from start to finish & was smooth at every stage thanks to great communication from our Andrews with everyone in the chain. I brought a ground floor flat in…WARMLEY

I brought a ground floor flat in Warmley Bristol from Andrews estate agents . The staff lied to me about the property, because they had a customer from hell. I was told I don’t need a survey done. How wrong they were. The flat is covered in mould. Cracks on the outside wall, and so on. . I had to replace the bathroom and kitchen. They squeezed has much money out of me for the customer . I discovered after the sale, the vender did have the property up for sale 5 times with Andrews estate agents in longwell green Bristol. They were desperate to sale to get their commission. I am still furious from a year on wards. I will not be selling my flat with Andrews if I decide to move in the future.
