Be very careful in using Haart Lettings as their vetting procedures are not thorough. They are more interested in reaching their targets for the month. Also they push the rent protection which in itself is very questionable. We nearly ended up with a tenant that had provided fraudulent information to obtain our house. It was only because we questioned the information provided a number of times that they finally looked into it.

I am not sure there are words good enough for the service we received at Haart Barkingside. From the first valuation and discussion, through pictures, property details and viewings, right to contract exchange. Utterly charming and totally on it. Their knowledge of the area was great too. What sells, what doesn't, how to sell in the area. I didn't realise until I started talking to them how much they knew what people in the area want. Our house sold incredibly quickly and I believe it was this local knowledge that made that possible. I must namecheck Alex, Tony and Amanda - who have clearly defined roles in the process, and who handed me from one to the other as matters progressed. Really...what a team!

We have just completed on our exchange with Haart and they from the start have been nothing but helpful. Of course it's a stressful time but they did their best to reassure is of the process the entire time. We started off with Tony H. He was always professional and polite. An absolute pleasure to work with. During his time of we worked with his manager Alex G, a very dedicated and driven man his passion in his work clearly shows. Lastly Amanda S, who took care of everything after our offer to exchange and completion. She worked tirelessly communication up and down the chain. This team got things done and we're so excited to be moving into our new family home.

My parents sold through haart and were extremely anxious about the whole process as it has been a long time since they last moved. Alex the branch manager put them at ease and explained the whole process. The team did an excellent job and negotiated a great price allowing them to buy the bungalow they had found. The seller of the bungalow put a very short deadline on the whole sale and Amanda the sales progressor went above on beyond to make it happen. My parents have now settled and they never would have done it without the effort from haart

Haart Barkingside provided us excellent service throughout the selling process. It was a pleasant experience. They managed to get an offer for my house within 2 weeks of it going on the market and the sale of house was closed very quickly. In spite of the fact that we were part of a chain with multiple stakeholders, they dealt with the sale in a professional and efficient manner and ensured smooth exchange and completion. Initial service was excellent. Selling my nan's house, so they were very supportive of the fact she was elderly and made sure she was supported throughout. Cannot fault Paul at all! Sadly after receiving an offer the sales progresser was aggressive and pressuring throughout and at points thoroughly huffy down the phone and seemed solely there for the purchaser rather than for us as the vendors. She completely failed to manage his expectations as he was threatening to pull out of the sale only 6 weeks after making the offer. Ultimately the buyer was putting pressure on the sale and it was suggested by Haart that my 83 year old grandmother break the chain and move somewhere in the interim until the purchase of a new property went through which I felt was absolutely disgraceful to even suggest it. If she had been dealing with this on her own she wouldn't have coped with it. Marred our experience of using Haart sadly as it started so well... Only rated 3 stars as Paul deserves a 5 star review himself.

We would never apply unnecessary pressure to an elderly vendor, but we wanted to run the option by you to see if it was feesable, as we knew that your grandmother was moving to be closer to you and your family. If we had of been dealing with your grandmother directly, we would have approached this conversation in a really sensitive manner. The buyer was applying pressure for many weeks, and we successfully placated him and the sale did end up going through, but we would like to maintain that our main concern in the process was that of your grandmothers best interests.
