Worst agent I've ever rented with. Very poor service. I have rented a property managed by Martin and co and can say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with an agent. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are incompetent and unresponsive. Worst agent ever. Do not recommend at all. Avoid at all costs.

I am a landlord. Evicted my tenant without my knowledge, and have then been trying to charge me for this service ever since. Rarely answer the phone, and do not call back after leaving a message. They used to be really good up until they where taken over a few years ago.

Terrible service from Gosport Branch. Tenant hasn't paid rent for 2 months, Gosport lettings team not returning calls to let me know what's happening, I have to constantly call for updates. Tenant doesn't pay council tax, I recieve letters when Gosport should be dealing with this. It is unbelievable. Use another agency for sure!

The worst company ever. They refused to refund my holding deposit, after terminating my application just because i'm on a full time, temporary rolling contract. They were kept in the loop about this all along, but they refused to return my money. Please don't waste your time with them!

Absolutely terrible. Please do not use CHELSEA Reach Branch. Staff incompetent. Owner arrogant and rude. Totally unprofessional. I have taken them to the ombudsman and won compensation, that is how bad they have been. Collected keys and let themselves into my property, without my permission, when the contract between us had finished.

Disgraceful customer service. I offered the full asking price for a property to later be told the seller wanted cash buyers or first time buyers only. Not only this, but they didn’t have the decency to inform me the property had been sold just 2 days after my full offer.

Rochdale branch-Complete waste of time!! Ignored 4 emails! Cut me off when I rang up! Online chat with jade giving details and saying I wanted advice on loans, I wanted to view a house and sell mine completely ignored-never got back to me!!!I’m amazed they’re still trading their attitude is disgraceful

Absolutely atrocious customer service on multiple occasions, final straw was broken when the rudest teenage estate agent I have ever had to deal with declined my phone call and ignored my partner and I at the viewing. GoogleI have used Martin and Co to manage my house in Banbury for the past 10 years, I recently moved back in to the house to renovate and rent out again, they have given superb service throughout and I will return to them again when my work is complete. Highly recommended!

Martin & Co are setting new standards for letting agents in London. If you thought their greediness was impressive (with nearly 3 times the usual rate for reference checking) you'll be stunned at their complete lack of competence, their total lack of interest, and their abilities in lying directly to your face.

Leeds branch (letting) - terrible and untrustworthy, they spend your money without consent and have little regard for what they can do with client's funds in spite of it being illegal. Third party services provided for repairs are mostly poor quality and unchallengeable. I'm looking to exit as soon as possible.

Giles Mugford, Camberley Branch.Property: 2 Lower Canes, Yateley, GU46 6PYI put an offer of £290,000 on 26-May-2015. My offer was declined with the reason that my offer was lower than other offers. From land registry, I see that property was then sold for £271,000 on 18th Aug 2015. Wonder why?
