I didn't think an estate agent made much of a difference, but I was wrong. Our house was on with 2 agents for 4 weeks and we only had 1 viewing, those agents instructed us to drop our house price by £15k. We didn't listen and went with Anker instead. Within 2 weeks we had 3 viewings and sold our house at the price we wanted. I would definitely recommend Anker. I sold my mother's house through Anker, when she moved into a care home; chose them because they seemed to be the agents most likely to find a good purchaser. Very happy with the way they kept me informed of viewings and feedback, and then with the way they kept buyer and seller in contact when the transaction was held up by the need to sort out probate on my mother's death. Always very pleasant by phone, email, and in person.

I was a executor of a deceased estate and a house was part of the estate to sell, The house was local to Anker, but I live in Spain. which I imaged would cause me some headaches but Anker were so helpful and totally professional throughout the process, even when the original buyer pulled out through health reasons within a few days another buyer was found and the whole process was seamless. Couldn't recommend Anker and Partners highly enough, our sale was delayed a number of times due to our buyers mortgage advisor/lender, This created problems for us further up the chain with the property we were buying from another agent, Anker chased this for us pretty much round the clock keeping everyone fully informed in the process. I'm sure our sale only went through eventually due to their hard work and commitment and we couldn't be happier with the service provided to us, Marie Skinner and Jeremy Vasey are a credit to Anker and I would have no reservations in recommending them to anyone. They are professional at all times, polite and a pleasure to deal with, add to that their local knowledge and you really are in good hands, should we ever decide to move home again they will be our go to estate agent.

We sold two properties through Anker in Banbury, a flat and a semi-detached house. When we were looking for an estate agent, we wanted somebody who would work hard for us, and who would tell us the truth at every stage of the process. Anker were recommended by a neighbour who had sold through them, and who had been very pleased with their service. We were impressed with every single member of staff whom we spoke to at Anker, including all of the office staff on the phone, the negotiators, and the agents. They were fully professional and always on-the-ball. They kept us informed, and always knew what was happening. They were also all very friendly and approachable. We knew that we could trust Anker, because we had also viewed properties that they were selling, and found the representatives to be always fully prepared. Also they had time for us: viewings were never rushed (unlike other agencies we had experienced.) When they brought people to view our properties, the prospective buyers were the right type of people: ready buyers with money. Anker always seemed to screen out the timewasters. The price at which Anker valued our house, turned out to be very accurate, which meant that we sold quickly and we were then able to secure our dream home. If you want to sell your house or flat, then definitely use Anker.

We have been using Ankers to rent out our properties for about 15 years now. They have always been professional and yet friendly, giving good advice and support as and when required. Their response time in replying to any of our queries has been excellent. Their vetting process has resulted in finding good tenants who, typically, stay for a number of years.
