GoogleTried selling my house through this agency but had to ditch them for several reasons. Just to name a few, impossible to get speaking to the actual agent, they asked my tenant to host all but 1 of the viewing which i was not only angry about but then left wondering what exactly i was paying them for. They were slow to get viewings across the door, slow to chase up viewings and there were a list of other issues but i dont have all day. In the end i ditched them, went with another company that ended up charging me less, giving me a much better service and actually bothered to show buyers around themselves. This other company had my house sold in 2 months over the worst months for selling because homes independent had wasted so much time from march to Oct not doing much to sell my house during the prime time of the spring and summer months.NegativeQuality

In March 2020, we only listed 1 property with a tenant in situ. So assuming this is the same property, this review is very disappointing as I felt that the vendor and ourselves had a great relationship. The house was listed the week we were closed down due to the pandemic, however we kept in touch regularly. There are call logs between the vendor and our agent’s mobile, mostly outside of working hours over the course of the house being for sale. When we were allowed to commence viewings in July, our agents accompanied all viewers, however we had difficulty gaining access when the tenant was in the property. When the house was listed with another agent, the vendor called our estate agent and explained that they knew the new agent personally and wanted to give them the business. We wished you all the best with the house sale and indeed still do.

If I were selling a house in the area they would be my first choice. From the first meeting and valuation discussions, through development of the marketing brochure, through to sale, their service is honest, quick, practical, efficient and seamless between each of the team members. They dealt exceptionally well and sensitively with the situation whereby we were selling our parents’ house on their behalf and actually based in England. We received frequent updates on the sale process. Their services professional and friendly. Unlike some agents who might be keen to close a sale, at any price, Homes Independent really do act on the vendor's behalf. They take the pain out of any negotiating process and go the extra mile for their clients. GoogleAbsolutely brilliant service and staff at this place. Used many different Estate Agents over the years, but got to say these guys are the best I’ve encountered. Very friendly and easy to chat with, plus super professional and go the extra mile. GoogleTried so much to make a booking and when the day come , beside the fact i was waiting for 30 min in front of the house , they come with the wrong key and asked me to wait another 30 min until they go to the office and coming back. A joke.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Lavinia. We have 2 properties on our books on that road beside each other and when you booked in, either we misheard the house number or there was a breakdown in communication. Our agent attended the viewing at the correct time, however had keys to the property next door to the rental property you wanted to see. The agent suggested he quickly go back to the office to retrieve the keys for the apartment you wished to see. I apologise you had a negative experience, it was a genuine mistake. We wish you all the best with the house hunt.

All the staff members I had dealings with at Homes Independent were highly professional and kept me updated regularly on viewer feedback. Homes Independent offered a dedicated staff member called Sharon to show all perspective buyers around my home. She was outstanding and without doubt helped sell my home. Utterly professional in every way and took the strain out of me having to show perspective buyers around. This is a fantastic service offered by Homes Independent.
