As recent purchasers of a residential property in Co. Wexford facilitated by vendors auctioneer Aisling McGrath of Sherry Fitzgerald Haythornthwaite. We would highly recommend Aisling and her colleagues in branch who offered a skilled and professional service from virtual viewing, right through to on site viewing and handover. Aisling ensured that there was a constant line of communication between vendors and purchasers and really went the extra mile to close the sale in a timely manner. 5 star service all the way !

Totally Disgraceful. We heard that Sherry FitzGerald was a professional company, but how far from the truth was this. We sold our residential property with them. They found a buyer, but at this point everything went so wrong. A member of staff gave the potential buyer the key and let them enter the property unsupervised. We were unaware of this until we got a call from a neighbour stating the potential buyer had moved a static caravan into the rear garden by craning it over the roof. At this point the potential buyer had no insurance in place, they damaged the interior of the house and they were planning on living in the static caravan rent free before the contract was exchanged. The staff at Sherry FitzGerald did nit check the property to ensure this did not happen. You can imagine the extra stress this put on the seller as the interior of the property had been destroyed and there was a static caravan in the rear garden. If the sale had fallen through, I would have been in a world of pain as it would be up to me to put the house back to being sellable again. The directors of Sherry FitzGerald were concerned, not for the customer, but their business. We had nearly two weeks of stress and getting extra engineer reports completed. I would not recommend their services.

The actions taken by the third party were unprecedented, and in our 40 years of business we have never encountered such a situation before. As we previously communicated with you, once we were made aware of this incident our team proactively brought the matter to a close. We have investigated the matter in full and despite it being highly unlikely such an incident will ever re-occur, we have put extra precautions in place to protect our clients. The unauthorised actions taken by the third party were inexcusable and beyond our control. We hope that now your sale has closed you can put this distressing incident behind you. Placed an order and then there was no further update from the agent for over a month.I called them for update then the agent called back and ask what can they help me???After the call they asked me to increase the offer, it is totally fine but should be more proactive. Will not consider them in the future.

Ed Reilly came to value our home in anticipation of us going to market. After our first meeting with Ed it was clear he had a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the current market so we did not hesitate to appoint him which transpired to be a great decision. Not all sales go smoothly , however with a calm and problem solving approach the sale was completed. Ed was fantasic to deal with , always promptly returning my calls and handing any issues with the utmost professionalism as did his team in the office. For any future purchases or sales we may endeavour on within Eds scope area there would be no one else we would choose.

Very annoyed with sherry fitzgerald tallaght. Mislead about a few things during the already stressful process of buying apartment. I was told on a couple of occasions that furniture was included so I gave all my furniture to charity shop, only to find a completely empty apartment to move into. Have to now spend money I don't have to buy a whole new set of furniture on Christmas week. Very unprofessional people.

TrustpilotUnprofessional - never stick to commitment
I recently purchased a house through Sherry and my experience was worse (D15). While buying a house is a life event for most, the folks here has absolutely no consideration to that fact. They did not want to show me the house for final walkthrough which I had to argue with them. They lied to me that they had the entire house keys so I released the funds, however, they gave me literally just a single main door key. I had to follow up for 5 days, and multiple phone calls to receive the entire set of keys. After all this, it took 3 weeks for them to remove the 'Sold' board in front of the house. If you are looking for an agent, please do not consider Sherry, instead consider other agents who are more professional and friendly.

Having purchased a property from sherryfitzgearld ,Renovated it and then went back to the office to whom I purchased from,and asked would they be interested in marketing our property,only to be messed around by the principle of sherry fitgearld,traveling a hr to leave a key available ,this was 3 weeks ago march 2023 ,only to find no one arrived to even look at the property for pictures , measurements etc ,This is no way to treat customers ,we wouldn't treat our clients in such a fashion nor do we expect to be treated in such a hap hazzard manner .Imagine turning down a new build 3 bed house ,A rated ,and not have the courtesy to ring and say look sorry we won't be marketing your property ,even when it was this branch in cork we purchased from .☎️A SIMPLE PHONCALL OR EMAIL WOULDNT GO AMISS
