Steer clear of the branch in West Norwood. The owner is rude and arrogant, and entirely unhelpful. He will come over well with his pitch, but things may change. The women who run the office are friendly and efficient. My advice would be to do it yourself. In the end, I did the selling, organised conveyancing, spoke to my buyer and seller directly. It isn't rocket science

Thursday: Arranged viewing of the house, no driving from the station for disabled, had to find own way in the night. Unfriendly rep showed the house which was good. My husband called the same day and left the message that we are interested, no reply. Friday: I called next day and said to the rep Karen that we are interested, no comments from her. Saturday: We called again and the rude rep told us the house is sold few days ago and hanged up. We are disgusted with dishonesty and rudeness of this branch. Drugged disabled person to see sold properties. Do not waste your time, total liars and cheers.

Avoid at all costs. Agents are not very helpful and when attempting to rent from them, all these additional costs kept cropping up. There are hidden costs ie. inventory, lettings contract costs.Agents are difficult to get hold of and do not return calls.

Excellent service and and advice, quick response to my queries and paperwork dealt with promptly and any changes were done immediately. Nicola Hood from Romsey dealt with the paperwork and was professional and answered my queries immediately, she had my tenant in very promptly.

An encouraging start with a higher than expected valuation and a flexible (timewise) buyer lined up but which in the event wasn't able to be flexible and so bought elsewhere. Many subsequent viewings and second viewings but the agent failed to find a buyer to meet the agents valuation coupled with flexibility. In short, 12 weeks with this sole agency proved a complete waste of time. Regret unable to recommend.

Absolutely dreadful experience, got stood up at a viewing. No communication between the estate agent and you only a straight call to the offices which have zero information as to the whereabouts of their agents.
We are always disappointed to receive a review such as yours. Winkworth offices are all independently owned and operated and therefore it you are able to share information on the office which you dealt with we will be able to look into the matter. The worst agency I have ever come across. Absolutely horrendous experience with them, they are awful, words cannot even explain their bad customer service skills. Money grabbing company. Need new staff asap.Genuinely extremely unacceptable experience.

We have had a good-to-very-good experience with Winkworths. From being shown the flat by Jo and having then bought it, we were handled extremely well by Alina and her lettings team. They were on the ball, responded very quickly and efficiently to our enquiries and - not least important ! - found very good tenants for our flat in short order. We would certainly recommend them.
