My wife and I visited the Ayr branch as we were looking to move to the area. There was nothing that met our parameters or budget at the time, but they took our details to keep us up-to-date with anything new. Everybody was very friendly and efficient and we had a follow-up email the next day to let us know we were on the system. As it turned out, we found out that an offer we had placed on another property was accepted and so no longer needed anything, but I have every confidence that this company would have been helpful had we needed to look further.

Our mother passed away recently so we had to sell her house. We spoke to three estate agents and selected Slater Hogg and Howison. This proved to be a good decision. They explained clearly how the process would work and the costs involved. We were kept fully informed on viewing timings and the outcomes and they helped us with every query we had. A big shout out to Ellis Derricks selling skills and Caroline Bradley for keeping the admin up to date and for simply being there for us. We can't recommend Slater Hogg & Howison, Ayr enough. From Lee's first visit right through to the closing date and we felt in safe hands with Sharon, Caroline & Lee. Everything was explained clearly and accurately. They were always available if we needed advice. The amount of viewings we had was incredible and they advised going to a closing date after only 2 weeks. Again they were 100% right and we were absolutely delighted with the price our home achieved. We can't thank them enough for all their hard work. We'd also like to say thank you to the lovely Moira who we met on viewings we went too. The best team all round. I have recently completed the letting process with Slater Hogg & Howison (Kilmarnock branch) and myself and my son are soon to move to a property we are very keen on. I was greatly assisted along the way by Bernard, whose expertise, diligence and compassion were outstanding. I felt he went above and beyond during this experience, which included a few curve balls being encountered, of which he ultimately sorted out! Picked SHH at random, thinking every agent is as good as the next. I don't know about "the next" but am thrilled with this one. Selling mum's flat has been a breeze. From initial meeting to marketing, a couple of weeks. Photos & promotion excellent. Initial purchaser withdrew, but another was secured within 7 days, & a better offer than previous. Caroline and all the staff at Slater Hogg worked so incredibly hard and effectively to sell 2 flats for us. We went to a closing date and Caroline was as happy as we were with the great outcome. There were constant emails and phone calls going back and forth and Caroline was just brilliant the whole time. She's such a star. Our initial meeting was with David and he explained the whole process in detail and was always available to answer questions and even helped with filling out the many questions i couldn't answer on the Home Report registration form. I genuinely could not rate Slater Hogg and Howison in Ayr any higher, the level of service and personal attention to our needs and requirements were outstanding. From the initial phone call with Caroline, to meeting with David and the service throughout the sale. Which of course was the main thing, they sold out flat!
