Dear Mr Griggs, our sellers chose to part exchange their property with a developer after your sale collapsed. I have investigated your claim and listened to our recorded calls on the matter, and even in the face of you swearing on the phone and openly berating estate agents as an industry, I’m proud to say my team were nothing but polite and professional in return to you. I will also stress the property you wanted to buy was sold at a much lower price on the part exchange scheme so there is no truth in your claim of being gazumped. May I take this opportunity on behalf of us all here at Williams Properties of wishing you every success in finding a new home and we are truly sorry that on this occasion your purchase did not work out.
