I listed my property with Michael Anthony Aylesbury and start with all was good they called each time they had a viewing but after a month they said to lower the price which I did and instantly got an offer under what new price was but acceptable so went ahead. I was told at the beginning that a house with no chain should take 8 to 10 weeks once sale had been agreed but here I am 25 WEEKS and not heard from them for nearly 4 weeks. They never keep you informed of how anything is going, I emailed them a list of questions about what was happening and never got a response so phoned 3 weeks later and was told I would get a call on the Friday with an update and I would get a call or email weekly to keep me informed. I didn't get a call but an email to say it was proceeding but that was 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I have signed the contract and returned to my solicitor but again that was over 2 weeks ago. They have not done anything for over 3 months and I still don't have a completion date. I am really disappointed with the lack of support and information from an estate agent with a good reputation. The person buying the house is buying it as a rental property and I don't need to buy a house as already moved so NO CHAIN. I would not use them again as this experience has been incredibly stressful and expensive to me. This is only my experience and hopefully yours will be better.
