Great experience
The lady at meadow walk couldn't do enough. She welcomed us with a big smile and explained everything with ease to make us have the best experience possible for choosing our new home.

I was after a house at ransom court
I was after a house at ransom court, the salesman seemed nice and even gave me a show round on the site, having sold my house i was ready to put a deposit on a house asap. I was told you cant reserve a plot but wait until one comes available and was told by the salesman soon as i receive an email that one was available i was to call him to reserve one, having received the email i called straight away and left a message to reserve a plot, having called several times with no reply i decided to go down to the site, only to find that the house had gone do i asked about 2 others witch were 3 beds and was told they had gone too. I then asked how are you supposed to get one he replied you can book an appointment for the following weeks having gone on the site to make an appointment they were all booked up, why couldn't he of told me this in the first place as i wasted months waiting around, i think they may of tipped someone off when one was coming up, now having read the reviews i can see thay gleeson homes are a see they are a tin pot company with no customer service and im so glad i didnt buy one in the end.

Believe the bad reviews
Me and my wife have bought a house at Kilner Park in Doncaster a few months ago. Before we bought the house the sale assistants seemed good and friendly, but as soon as you place deposit and several months later exchanged contracts the customer service goes down hill. After placing the deposit they said we’d keep you updated on the progress but this never happened we had to chase to get updates on the build of our house. After exchanging contracts they give you access to “myGleeson” from there you can submit questions or issues. We submitted a couple of queries a couple of months after moving in they responded but don’t really answer your query (think they should get into politics). The house itself is alright everything look good but some of the materials & fixtures seem cheap.Over all the house is fine, the customer service is not the best but I guess this is what you get when you use a cheap house developer.

Brilliant experience
Brilliant experience. Diane my sales lady was lovely and answered any questions I had, also giving me honest advice regarding options choices. I’ve since referred my best friend who has now purchased a house with them too :)
Hi Jessica, thank you very much for your review and referral. We are pleased to hear you are happy with your experience and your new home! All the best for the future.

Excellent communication
Since buying our house in 2017, I have seen a huge improvement in the customer care at Gleeson Homes, especially in the last couple of weeks when i have had a couple of issues with a leak & a crack in my bathroom. I have had 2 visits from a lovely and very helpful man called Ged whilst having fantastic communication with a lady in the office called Kit. The portal that has now been put in place on the website is a quick and easy way to send a description and upload a photo of the defect. Thank you for your help.. Ashley

Please please take note - GANGSTERS
Please please take note the sales people are all nicely nice but as soon as you have exchanged contracts the fun begins . Absolute gangsters even threatened me if I kept complaining about the issues . I'm 2 years in now and the biggest mistake ever was buying a Gleeson home I am happy to discuss issues with anyone and even the papers area welcome to contact me. I note they are building new homes in Spennymoor now and I feel sorry for anyone buying them

Do you want be healthy?
Will you want be healthy? Avoid any business with them. They are very, very, very poor quality. You couldn't find all mistakes, neglected and intentional scams during the inspection. There are a lot of hidden mistakes even during usage of hauses are invisible. Few of mistakes are visible when warranty runs out and you are alone with mistakes. And them could be costly. They do not repair all complains. Only easy for to do. Gleeson hasn't obdusman and is not available independent negotiator. If you have any dispute with them, only in the court. I move in as first on estate and I have watching progress when hauses growed. You will not see that. Believe meIt was a worster spend money in my live.

Gleeson Homes Rosebank Liverpool
Moved into Gleeson homes Rosebank Liverpool in July been the worst time of our lives. So much stuff not completed I would be here forever trying to write it all down. Right now our lives feel ruined. The beautiful new build we where promised is nothing short of a home from hell. Uneven walls, wrong pipes, Ill fitting plugs, non working plugs, faulty electrics, half done plastering, vinyl floor cut short and bumpy, carpet miss laid and bumpy, windows doors bathrooms all not sealed properly, things we paid for not done, spent the first few months with a front door on what should of been our back door and when they finally fitted the right back door they ruined all the walls around it, let themselves into our hone and ripped our kitchen out without permission to get to a blocked drain and then when they re fitted our kitchen the cupboards left with holes and dints in huge hole is the wall so you can see insulation, broken extractor fans, cracks everywhere, bits of skirting missing, panels of the cupboards missing. We also had to fight for a path in front of our house as it wasn’t disability friendly (just covered with stones) as my partner has to sometimes use a wheelchair. Honestly I could go on but the list is endless. We new there would be snags but this is more than snags. The original building manager has been sacked because the state of all the houses in the site, and the amount of complaints he got (he had an awful attitude and couldn’t control his staff or his own temper) So now currently we have had to live in a dusty house as they have had to re-plaster and re paint everywhere and waiting for a new kitchen and honestly the dust is so thick. They wouldn’t accommodate us and just kept saying we will hoover even though the plasterer was saying that it wasn’t safe to be there because the dust will keep falling. All my lovely new and old belongings are ruined and all stuff is just dirty. The new plasterer and electrician have said our home looks like it was done by cow boy builders and it’s the worst they have ever seen. But honestly when you see these things in the media you never think it would happen to you. Our lives are currently ruined.

Gleeson Homes C.E.O. gets the sack.
Following a 'no reply' from my second email to the C.E.O. of Gleeson Homes, I now find out that he has had the sack, so I can only assume I have no chance that anyone will follow up my complaint.I have, however, sent an email to Gleeson Head Office asking if they could let me have the email address of the new 'stand in' C.E.O. (ex Keepmoat C.E.O.), but again, I will not be holding my breath for a response, let along resolution to my complaint.

Second email to C.E.O. of Gleeson Homes
It is well over a week since I sent my second email of complaint to the C.E.O. of Gleeson Homes, and like the first, I have not had either an acknowledgement nor response. I fail to see why such a company is not bothered about feedback, good or bad, that is posted about it.I only hope that when I do eventually get the keys to my new home, that the finish of it is of a high standard due to the time it is taking them to build it. One can live in hope!!!!

Be aware of extending completion dates.
I recently reserved a new Gleeson property on their Grimsby Development.Following this I decided to read some of the reviews that other purchasers had left on various media sites. At the time I thought some of the comments were a bit harsh, BUT HOW WRONG I WAS. In hindsight I ought to have read the reviews first.Once I had Exchanged Contacts for the property and paid my deposit, that's when the completion date of the property started getting extended. I sent a complaint email to the CEO but never received any response from it. I assume he receives that many he just ignores them or passes them on to someone else that does just the same. My advice to other prospective purchasers has to be get a firm completion date before parting with your money unless you are very flexible on your move-in date.

Stay away
Stay away. I will not be dealing with this company again, I'm just glad I didn't go any further than the initial stages as that was enough stress. They put the prices up even after they have agreed an initial price with you, if that's the kind of management that's running Gleeson, I don't know what house quality can be expected and I'd rather not know, just be careful with your hard earned money with this company.

0*. If you value your money and time, do not buy from Gleesons
Problem after problem. Bought our home a year ago and had issues since completion. The reviews say it all

Horrible company to work for
Horrible company to work for, the work load is gruelling, the pay is so low it’s offending. The site agents are all friends from people “above” you know what It means it’s them against you that’s how this company runs it’s sites and that is every single site! Your lucky to be paid what you are owed. Never ever again will I ever work for gleeson homes the industry would be a better place without them

Great service from sales team
Great service from sales team. Unfortunately we've had a lot of issues with the house such as leaking pipes onto kitchen ceiling, door wouldn't lock properly, paint splashes etc. So we were not as happy with the finish of the house
Hi Mrs Warhurst, I am sorry to hear about the experience you are having with Gleeson. I have passed your details over to our customer care department and someone will be in contact shortly. Thank you.

We do not recommend houses from…
We do not recommend houses from Glessson, they are delivered in an unfinished state, built quickly, not correctly! Lots of basic bugs, all beautifully before picking up the keys. After that, no contact, they promise it ends there, the two-year warranty is just a lie! A lot to write but why - watch out for them!!!!!
