I had a solid experience with Patrick Gardner, Ashtead. The sale required careful coordination between the buyer’s solicitor and the buyer’s broker, and the team managed that very well. Communications were clear and timely, explanations were straightforward, and when issues arose they worked hard to make sure everyone was kept updated, and the sale reached completion. We went with Patrick Gardner initially because the house we were buying was also being sold by them . I’m so glad we did . We really felt that Michelle , Sarah and Shelley went the extra mile for us, always answered every call promptly, did everything they could to help us buy our dream home. We really felt they took the time to get to know us and understand our needs. They were exceptionally brilliant at selling my home too, it’s always stressful buying and selling homes but these ladies did everything they could to make sure everything went through efficiently and effectively. Excellent support with valuation, marketing and sale of our property by Patrick Gardner in the Ashtead office from Michelle, Sarah, Loraine and Shelley. All viewings were conducted by the Patrick Gardner team in liaison with us. The transaction chain wasn't very large but it became complicated; by contacting all the legal teams involved, Shelley kept everyone informed each week about status and progress (or lack of it) so that people stayed on-side throughout until exchange of contracts could take place. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with the service we received from Patrick Gardner, and Sarah in particular. We were not local so it was great that they were happy to deal with potential buyers, including taking meter readings on the completion date, and providing access to the company we were using to clear and clean the house prior to completion. Two negatives. the first was that the clearing and cleaning company, that they put us in touch with, let us down. They did say that they would not recommend any particular company, so shouldn't affect their review, but we did suggest that they took them off their list. Don't know if they have. The second was that they were a bit pushy about having a sale board up. As we were not local, and as the house was vacant, we were reluctant to advertise that the house was up for sale, particularly as, being at the end of a cul-de-sac, there was no passing traffic.
