When Renting, or Buying a property it’s usually fraught with pitfalls. Not on this occasion, Claudine worked her magic and bought about a very smooth transaction. Claudine I can’t thank you enough.

Valuation less than a valuation I had 2 years ago despite buoyant market. Factored in “possible unforeseen repairs” as reason for low valuation. Even zoopla estimated 65k more just in previous sale price and general market increase over the subsequent years. I got the feeling the guy just didn’t want to be bothered with it unless it was a giveaway. Since heard another customer say the same thing. Sad, cos I really thought I’d sell with them but wouldn’t trust them to be enthusiastic sellers now even if they upped the price.

It is with dismay that I have to leave this review of Hobbs Parker Ashford, I sent in about 14 pages of requested ID, utility bills, proof of funds, along with informal tender letter to buy a residential property with land. A week after the tender deadline I rang the offices to be told that the executors had not made any decision as yet, I explained how unbelievably stressful it is trying to buy a property, let alone by some greedy executors who couldnt be bothered to make a decision even a week after the tender deadline. Hobbs Parker still havent contacted me to inform me of the results of the tender! however I see that the land has been readvertised, so now Im aware that the house sold without the land. How unprofessional are Hobbs Parker.. they havent even got the decency to inform me that my bid offer wasnt good enough to buy the property..

GoogleWe had a terrible experience letting from Hobbs Parker! Don't except honesty when renting as we wasn't told the landlord lived next door and regularly comes around unannounced even opening the back door and walking in to the property while my daughter was in the bath. We had to leave in the end due to this. Moya the manager is extremely rude and only looks after the landlord so if you do choose to let from hobbs parker make sure you take ample pictures of every room cupboards etc before moving items in because if you don't you will pay for it when trying to get your deposit back. Also don't do any works on the property because none of this will be taken in to account when exiting the let. We moved all the landlords items to there shed replaced lino installed a new light fitting and painted all there fence panels free of charge only to be offered no deposit back due to list of rediculious reductions. We had to fight to get a minimal deposit back which was unneeded time and stress. So in a nutshell I will never let from Hobbs Parker nor recommend them. They are the worst letting company I have ever dealt with! Regards Craig

GoogleRented from Hobbs Parker lettings for 2 years. In that time they carried out regular inspections and would come back with works to be done, the works would usually be impossible tasks to maintain whilst living in the house such as no residue on the bath screens or no marks on the flooring. This was easy to deal with the biggest issue o had was the general lack of courtesy and sheer rudeness of the agents in this branch, emails would go unanswered for weeks, phone calls would be rude and they would take no regard for politeness. Not one person in this office takes responsibility, it's always someone else's issue when calling and that person is funnily enough never in the office. I had to start venturing to the office to sort my issues and when there staff seemed genuinely annoyed that you are there often just saying "what as they meet you" I payed my rent on time, looked after the property well and I'm still treated like something off the bottom of a shoe. To sum up I'm still waiting on my deposit information, havnt been given any sort of paperwork or contacted and I'm in the dark about the property I used to rent. Would not go through these for renting as staff are rude, ignorant and seem to have a good complex. I will be contacting a solicitors soon as this is the only way to sort my issues, the cost will dwarf my deposit which I don't expect to see but it's the only way to get anything from these people.

GoogleSpoke to a lady called Cherry regarding a property. She never returned any of my calls with an offer I had made, made no effort to respond to my emails, and even ignored requests from her colleagues to respond to my emails. I feel the company needs to look at its staff and ensure they are open to all types of clientele, and actually want to listen to there prospective clients! Furthermore, I have noticed the company will only respond to its positive reviews, and will not respond to its negative reviews offering any form of support. Hobbs Parker, please return your calls/emails.
