Best estate agent experience (and the cheapest)

Nigel and the team were great from start to finish, in what was a difficult sale with lease extensions etc. They did all the viewings, kept me regularly updated and were the cheapest! It is obvious that as a local company they have that extra level of customer service you don't see with some of the other big name agents. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about selling their house.

communication issues

I feel there has been a lot of misunderstandings where the agents are not being honest with me about my expectations. They appear helpful and on the same page on the phone (if I phone them) but then no follow up/contact. I am not sure what I am paying them for because at the moment I have been upset and disappointed for several months. Its stressful. I am fairly certain it could of been avoided with some honesty as I feel they agree with me but don't follow through or reply. I feel they are avoiding me. Not replying or responding it a statement in itself.

The lettings team were always very helpful, responded to my queries in a timely manner and managed my queries well. I also found their fees to be competitive. I cannot fault the service at all from Gould & Harrison. I was very careful in selecting the right agent to sell my home and plumped for an independent over a chain and I’m so glad I did! Lee handled my sale and I‘ve got nothing but praise for his professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. Lee kept me up to date throughout the whole process, was never slow in responding to my queries, remain calm when I started to lose my head at times, and all-round good guy. Lee was very honest in his assessment of the market and the realistic price I would achieve for the house (compared to another agent who tried to tempt me by suggesting my house was worth way over the market price). I achieved a good price for my sale and the whole process was quick and efficient. Lee also took his time the give me advice on properties outside of the area which he had no involvement with! One of the best estate agents I’ve dealt with and this is from somebody who is very cynical of the profession! I would highly recommend Gould & Harrison if buying or selling in the local area.

We mostly dealt with Nigel Gould during our house sale. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and provided a realistic sale price. Some others in the area advised on exaggerated prices to tempt us into marketing with them before progressively slashing the asking price. The sale was coordinated completely by the team at Gould & Harrison as we had already moved out of the area for work and to be chain free.

I am first time buyer and have been looking for my forever home for two years, I have been purchase house and offered been accept different estate, but never got keys no result in the end ,I felt been hang in the air and lost confident with estate from buyer side , it was my first time purchase house from GH , so having decided on one I do not want to lose it. This house is on THREE OF CHAIN , from purchase until got house keys it was so smooth processing, it was not taking long time to end of completion of three chain. I have to say big fat THANK YOU to Lee ,Andy, Jo, Karin A. Honest as I was worried about three of chain , it may not go smooth and can break down any times before I made an offer and communicate with them , they were Honest and open about chains situations and made me feel they words can be trust, now I can say they are honest and caring of our buyer side . B. Excellent customer service they are excellent communicate skills and keeping update what was stage on , they are looking after three chain of customers. C. Professional and Knowledgeable they are very patience with every query I have and they will answer you quickly and on the phone with great manners to ensure you . knowledgeable they managed the whole chain of sale ,chasing solicitors, buyers, sellers ect make sure we all same date exchange contract and set date for completion date, it made all of us less stress and easier and timely and efficient. This was my first house that I was selling and from the first initial appointment; Gould & Harrison have been amazing to deal with. I dealt with many different estate agents throughout the buying process and it really did become clear how good G&H are, especially compared to their competitors. After our initial meeting with Lee I was convinced that this would be the correct decision. Lee has invaluable experience and a straight talking approach which we value. He quickly knew how to market our property and was always sending suitable propertys to view that met our criteria. We also then dealt with Andy day to day who had the upmost paitience with having to sell our property twice and our longer than average completetion.
