My brother and I contacted Hunters…

My brother and I contacted Hunters recently in relation to a 6 bedroom detached house with extensive parking & gardens in Buntingford Hertfordshire. We arranged an appointment with their employee Laura. My brother and I were so impressed by Laura from our first meeting in relation to her knowledge of lettings. She proved herself to be highly efficient and courteous during the following week and arranged all the certification, photos & floor plans for the letting with the individual contractors and in addition to providing us with beautiful Client brochures posted it on Rightmove within a very short time scale. I would highly recommend Laura and Hunters.

Extremely disappointed with this firm

Extremely disappointed with this firm, wanted to purchase a property and have waited a year for a viewing to be told it's now got a offer. A year ago offered a cash purchase and was given two appointments for viewings on the property both cancelled and the property taken off then relisted 6 months later asked for another viewing numerous times to be ignored and fobbed off. Finally after months for another viewing appointment to be cancelled again and told it's sold. It's been a year completely unprofessional, long time a year to be on the market especially when it could of sold a year ago. Would not recommend very slow at getting back in touch. Poor communication Extremely poor

Niral Batavia constantly kept me informed of progress, chased solicitors and other estates agents along the chain, I never had to chase; unprecedented in my experience. He provided useful advice, was happy to answer any query and was courteous and gentlemanlike throughout. Finally, his business ethos of teamwork between himself and client is a key success factor. My sister and I had arranged for three agents to value our mother’s property but were most impressed with Niral as he had obviously done a lot of research beforehand. He came across as very genuine and trustworthy. He gave us some very astute advice to empty the property before marketing it, which had not even occurred to us. To get that out of the way early in the process was very beneficial, particularly as we do not live in the area. Once a sale had been agreed, within a week of the house going on the market, he kept in regular contact with myself, our solicitors (recommended by him) and the buyer, which was very reassuring as we subsequently had the added complication of waiting for probate to come through before the sale could be completed. I would highly recommend using Hunters as both Niral and Nikki are highly professional individuals, extremely helpful and approachable.

Niral and Nikki are both fantastic. From the start Niral gave great advice and told us exactly what we could sell the house for and how to get it. They organised a great marketing plan and we had a choice of buyers. We were able to chose the best buyer who was in a position for a quick sale. Most importantly Niral worked tirelessly in making sure the sale went through chasing the solicitors up and down the chain to make sure things got done in a timely manner. By far the best estate agent we have ever used.

Horrible Company, Do not use them.

They are very lazy with their work and don't try as much compared to other firms we've interacted with. They made multiple basic spelling mistakes in the detailing of certain properties, such as 'life support' instead of 'lift support' and somehow misspelling 'appliances'. They also have poor communications between potential tenants and letting people, telling us 15 minutes AFTER the designated time that the tenants would not be coming, even though the arrival was booked a week in advance.

I recently sold 3 houses with Hunters in Gateshead and I have to say Hunters did a job a great job for me. A couple of the sales were not straight forward but they managed to get the sales over the line and and showed great worth ethic and professionalism. Really slow in replying to anything pretty much

If you ever need them pretty much they are very slack in responding to emails or phone calls. We moved out of our house on 2nd July and have only got our deposit back today (16 days later) this is with no disputes. Basically if they want something they will be quick to act, if you require something they'll fob you off, and they're taking over yorkshire by the sounds of it.

Our experience with estate agents over the years has not been good. We have always found them to be pushy sales people, once they have your business you barely hear from them and all they want is your money. I have just recently moved out of a property that Hunters in Baldock were managing I can’t believe in the difficult times with the pandemic how absolutely professional and efficient they have been. Both Claire and Chloe were brilliant.
