GoogleOverpriced property as the mortgage valuation was 25k lower than the asking price. We received an e -mail from Amy Keatman to say that due to 2 previous property failings due to us pulling out she would not be accepting our viewings. We pointed out that the reason for the fall through on one house was due to our buyers mortgage not being approved and she should understand it was nothing we could have done anything about.

GoogleAfter a torrid seven months waiting to move a special mention is deserved to Clare Herarty at the Alsager branch who although not my selling agent worked especially hard at getting things progressed and stabilising the chain above during the delay. She worked her socks off liaising with all the solicitors involved and pushing for updates. A faultless job and well done

GoogleI was recently tasked with disposing of a property belonging to an elderly relative which was in need of a refresh. My principal point of contact was Kayt and from the outset I found myself very comfortable dealing with her. Throughout Kayt was helpful and highly competent whist remaining constantly realistic. Kayt is clearly a successful and experienced negotiator - something which came through consistently -and was, I believe, a significant factor in what ultimately proved to be a speedy and very satisfactory process. It would be rather unfair not to include an appreciation of other staff at Alsager in this posting as Hayley and Adele combined to form an effective and pleasingly approachable team supporting Kayt.

GoogleThe estate agent didn't show up for the valuation and didn't even let us know they weren't coming. Waste of time. Do you seriously think we'd trust you to sell our house after that? In response to your reply - someone from your office only spoke to my 'wife' because she called them to find out why you hadn't arrived. You made no effort to contact us. There are other estate agents who can actually show up to an appointment or have the decency and professionalism to let you know if they can't. You can't even get the basics right so we won't be 'reaching out' to you again.
David Beresford, it is disappointing for us to hear that your experience was anything less than great. We did speak to your wife yesterday and explained what had happened and she was very sympathetic and said that she would speak with you and re-arrange the appointment. GoogleI have no intention of selling my property, and yet every couple of weeks I get a letter from this branch advising "we have a local buyer who would love to live in your area". I have used the contact email on the letters several times to request they stop sending this spam mail to my house, and I have been ignored everytime!

GoogleBrought my first house threw BJB in Alsager. They were very happy and helpful every time i had a question or to give me advice, all the staff knew what they were doing. They helped me and my girlfriend find the right house with the mortgage that suited us to get are selfs on the property ladder. Big thank you to Peter O’Brian and all he’s staff there! GoogleHayley played a significant role in speeding up the buying process. Solicitors, like any business, take a while to communicate anything. Hayley acted as a conduit between me and the seller, allowing both of us to provide requested documentation within hours of being requested. Excellent help and can't recommend her enough. My only gripe with BJB is the viewing times, as a standard 9-5 working man I was only able to view on weekends, which can sometimes mean the perfect house is taken before I could even view it. Having a part time viewing assisting would help, in particular for the evening hours.

GoogleSo, I just tried to book a viewing on a property for sale with Butters Alsager to be told I can't view the property as my property is not on the market yet and the owner wishes to sell quickly. I would not have minded had the property not been on the market for quite a few months already and the fact that I am already in a position to move. Knowing my property isnt on the market yet, did they think to offer to market my property ??? No, they just said the owner won't want you to view. Poor owner. I'm tempted to go round to their house and advise them them that Butters are blocking viewings without even questioning potential buyers. No wonder it's sat on the market for so long, after that experience I won't be asking them to sell mine.

GoogleI've had a poor experience dealing with multiple agents who simply are not communicating accurately, if at all, between buyer and seller. One agent didn't know the difference between a surveyor and a mortgage advisor, which was worrying. Deeply and solely concerned with commission, not what the property is actually worth. Zero humanity. Zero empathy.
