We viewed a bungalow that was up for sale with this company.. the man that shown us around didn’t know anything about the property! When we asked questions he just said call the office for any information. We never got a follow up phone call to ask how the viewing went. We decided because we was interested in the bungalow we asked for someone to come out to value our property.. the gentleman I believe named Nigel was 20 mins late. Very unprofessional. He looked around our home and barely made a conversation, he never stepped foot outside. Then told us what he thought it was worth!! We went on to get 2 more valuations which come out at 80k more than his valuation. Didn’t like the way we were treated .. late for valuation and lack of communication when viewing one of their properties. We did sell our home for 80k more than they valued it so Nigel was way out! I wouldn’t recommend.

Would not recommend buying a house from these. Brought a chain free house and should of took between 6 week and 3 months max and it took me over 5 months. Was told I could pick my keys up first thing in the morning for completion and did not recieve my keys until 3.50pm I had interior doors delivered in the morning that got wet through in the rain so I need to buy new ones now. I asked if I could do measurements in the house before I moved in and when I went I was rushed by the guy that opened up for me so I did not get all the measurements I needed and when asking for them to open up on other days they fobbed me of. I knew someone that recieved a hamper for there house move and I did not get one for all of my inconvenience that is the least they could of done to say sorry!!

When buying a property the hope is for the sale to go ahead with no - or very few -problems. Unfortunately our situation brought up some issues, and when we tried to raise these with Savidge & Brown we were appalled at how we were spoken to and how our concerns were dealt with, by the company director himself - Paul. When we had tried to discuss our concerns with Paul regarding the property we were hoping to buy - on the back of receiving the mortgage valuation and the building survey report - Paul was more offended by the fact that the property had been under valued, when we tried discussing issues brought up on the building survey these were dismissed by Paul, who demanded “evidence” (yet not actually giving us just the few minutes we needed to provide with said “evidence”, before informing us negotiation was not on the cards, and instead commenting on how “there were higher offers anyway so we’ll just go back to one of them”). My partner and I are not naive, we are aware unfortunately house moves fall through for various reasons, what we found utterly astounding was how a director of a company could talk to us in such a manner and not have any interest in, or share our concerns. I emailed Paul personally and told him my thoughts on his dealings of the matter, and nearly 1 month on have not had a response nor an apology from Paul or the company. We will certainly never have any dealings with Savidge and Brown in the future, and would urge people to bear this in mind when embarking on a very stressful process, with the hopes of good outcomes and above all else feeling supported by the estate agents involved.

Awful estate agent. Every time we have tried to deal with this company it has resulted in failure to turn up for viewings or no return calls when trying to book appointments. Never any follow up. We had sold our house, tried to book a viewing, gave availability and that was it, nothing, never booked us in. If you want to capture every opportunity to sell your house, use someone else. With how popular they seem to be, they must have someone talented who charms potential clients into signing up. With us alone, there are at least 3 houses in 2 house moves that could have been right for us that we never got to see. I don’t post reviews but this company has inspired me.

Very very slow service, how is anyone meant to successfully move into a rental when the service is so slow. So it’s taken a week for an estate agent to press a button for referencing checks to start. So say you get the house, how are you meant to move in straight away when you need to give notice on your current house? Can’t give notice yet because you’re not guaranteed the new house but they won’t let you know if you have been picked until day before the tenancy starts. All money making, the longer they prolong it the more money they make from landlord.

The very best I have found! As a property developer and landlord I have used many estate agents over the years but not one has come close to this company. Its not just the reasonable cost for their service, it was also about the little things that many other business's don't seem to get right, mainly communication. Throughout the whole process I was kept informed about any developments as they happened, all calls were either taken straight away or messages returned swiftly and always answered, as were emails. The chain involved in my sale was long and at times complicated, Paul, Rob and Tina were unquestionably efficient in managing some very difficult situation's that arose with solicitors and proactively communicated with all parties in order to help to move the chain along, without this assistance I have no doubt that there could have been dire consequence's. I bought a house through this agency in June 2021 so they weren't my agent however they were amazing. It was the perfect experience, from the first contact for a viewing (when many estate agents don't get back to you I had a viewing on the same day as my initial enquiry) to making an offer and following through all the way to purchasing my dream home.
