This is a fair and honest review of my experience with Tranquility Homes Letting Agency Due to failing eyesight I employed this company to Inspect and report on my one property. Every six months after the inspection I would phone and be told it was clean but untidy The tenants moved out and the inspection took place on the 4th of Feb this year Nothing could have prepared me for the damage to the property which had taken place over a number of years Before I entered the house I could see the hall walls had been eaten to the brickwork and the smell was sickening. Every wall and door had been chewed by dogs and the floor had been used as a toilet as two dogs had been locked in all day. The filth and squalor the tenants had lived in was beyond belief. I had a new kitchen and appliances installed for them and the cooker was burnt out and doors hanging off. The toilets were black and one was hanging off the wall. I could go on but Industrial cleaners… two men were there three days before I could ask anyone for a quote for the repairs. Tranquility Homes gave me quotes for £8000 and said they wanted 10% plus vat to oversee it The garden was a mud bath covered in dog mess Tranquility Homes should have reported all the damage but didn’t alert me or made me aware Although I treated the tenants very well Ifeel Let down by both the tenants and the letting agents. Shame on then both

I am not sure where all those positive reviews come from , I assume from local people who can go in person and actually speak to someone. I have sent numerous emails (via Rightmove) as well as called on multiple occasions for around a week and half now. Either no one picks up and I have to leave a voicemail (which I did! And still no reply) or I get through to sales team (in spite of selecting that I would like to speak to lettings team) who always “leave a message for a colleague in lettings team” and similarly no one ever comes back. I guess they are either severely understaffed or took on more than they can manage and just ignore some of the potential clients.

Charlotte has been so much help to us during our move. With fast responses to emails and questions and getting everything sorted for us quickly so that we could move in as soon as possible! She has walked us through every step of the process so that we were always informed on what was going on and has made our move run as smoothly as possible!

There seems to be a lack of interest from the staff working over at the branch in Hinckley. The girl did not had patience to let speak and she laughed at my questions therefore made me lose my patience as a customer for a few good years now. Not a pleasant conversation with Charlotte today.
