Got a valuation in September 2022 £60k overvalued, put on Rightmove on 1st December heard nothing for 6 weeks no calls no email no updates nothing. Emailed agent supposedly looking after us she explained she had been on holiday, we complained sent emails etc expressing the lack of communication in 6 weeks, we then decided to walk away after weeks of no viewings, this was not an easy task as we were verbally shouted at and basically told we would have to pay them the fee for house sale etc, I explained we had copies of all emails etc of the failings of Hive eventually we got it in writing that they would not chase us for fees. We went with another agent early this year house was revalued at proper price, got a buyer but sadly her house sale fell through In September 23 this year a lady who sold her property through Hive put in an offer for our house, all was going well then boom chain was supposedly broken my agent thought I had pulled out of the offer, no more calls from Hive, couldn't contact my buyer. Sometimes being to complacent as an Estate Agent because you have the majority of sales in the area comes back to bite you

As a landlord, I can highly recommend The Property Hive (particularly Ruby) for full management services. I switched letting agents, after a terrible, terrible experience with another local company (that I was recommended by the person I bough the property off). Please read the fantastic reviews from the Property Hive to make sure you avoid this with another company. Ruby has had to deal with various issues which were either not sorted by the previous agent, or claimed to have been sorted and weren’t. With each issue she has swiftly got tradesmen out to quote and checked for approval with me before authorising any works. I don’t live locally so it’s invaluable to have someone efficient (and friendly) to resolve issues at the property and so it’s a hands off investment. Also, to ensure the tenants feel looked after and issues are resolved for them (which they weren’t previously). I’ve mainly dealt with Ruby, but have spoken to other colleagues on the phone at the beginning, who are equally as friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for landlord services and I will use them to find future tenants, or for when I sell the property later down the line.
