GoogleAs executor for my late uncle, and not based in Hull, I needed helpful advice, local knowledge and quick communication when selling his retirement flat. Diane and Claire at the Willerby branch of Quick & Clarke were amazing, and helped to make things a bit easier at a difficult time. I really appreciated the regular updates and friendly conversations; they were great at every stage of the process. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, trustworthy, efficient estate agent.

GoogleThe sales staff are excellent. They could not have done more. They continually kept me up to date on the progress of the sale and also were very proactive in chasing both Solicitors! A big thanks to Emily and Charles. I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying or selling properties.

GoogleI have not technically used Quick & Clarke; they were the agents for a house I recently bought. That said, my own estate agent rarely contacted me which is the exact opposite to Diane from Q&C. Her level of service and personal touch was exemplorary and she would call, even if there were no updates to be shared (there was a delay further up the chain). I would recommend them without hesitation.

We are completely aghast at your one-star review.! We have had a great working relationship with you during your purchase of this refurbished property! Whilst we completely empathise that you have had a disagreement with the developer, you’re reasoning for our one-star review is that you believed we had re-erected the development for sale board. We did explain to you that we did not do this, the board had been mysteriously taken down last week after a year of being in situ and was in fact re-erected by the builder not ourselves. We have advised you of this but obviously this has made no difference whatsoever. I am sorry you felt the need to do this for actions beyond our control. We do however wish you both all the best for the future.

GoogleHad house on market for 3-4 months without a single viewing
Dear Ian, your review has slightly surprised us as not only is it inaccurate but you are not one of our vendors. The matter you refer to was an agreement your relative entered in to with us. Our terms of business were not only discussed but were clearly included in the agreement and accepted by your relative. The said property was presented to the market in July 2023, a very difficult time for selling properties, nationwide. During that time we arranged three viewings, all provided with our free viewing service. Two cancelled due to the exterior not being suitable and one attended and feedback was provided. At this point your relative gave permission to speak to you with feedback on viewings. I note you were not present at the point of valuation or instruction, this came at a later date. Before Christmas your relative came in and asked if we would put it on hold until the new year. She said she would come back to us once she was ready to re market. This was actioned as requested for her. A no point have we been made aware your relative was not happy infact she was always very appreciative and had a good relationship with the team. We then discovered a new agent had been instructed since January to market the property. No one had had the decency to inform us of this despite still being in a sole agency agreement with us! We withdrew the property so you were not in breach of contract with your new agent to avoid any issues and invoiced your relative £48 for an agreed compliance cost. Despite giving us an unfair one star review we wish your relative every success in her marketing and move. She was a pleasure to work alongside.
