GoogleRented a house for a year with Mighty House. Upon moving in there were several problems, including an electrical fire, a bug infestation, water dripping through the ceiling from the shower, large changes made to the structure of the house (that we were not notified of) and the fact that the house hadn't been cleaned. When we complained about these problems to Mighty House, their attitude was 'well let's not point fingers, now can you please follow me outside and not make a scene in front of the other clients'. Each term they asked for the rent money weeks before the term started and student loan dropped. They explained that if you sent an email in to ask for more time that wasn't an issue. But if you didn't, you were charged for handing in the rent late. This farce happened each term, and based on their reaction to the email, it seems as if this issue caused them a lot of stress, yet they didn't rectify it. Before we even moved into the property, we had issues with Mighty House. We arranged a viewing for one house, then after waiting outside the house for 10 minutes in the middle of winter, called them and were told to meet the estate agent at the Mighty House building. We were then showed around 3 different properties by a member of staff who explained that this was the first she'd heard of it, and had been tasked with the viewing only upon our calling. Additionally, a friend brought up the same issues with viewing as we received. However, in her case, she ended up having to call, waited 40 minutes total, and claimed the viewing was extremely unprofessional. Every person I've spoken to about this company has only had criticism to speak of. In terms of daily interaction. They would notify us of anyone coming round to the property the day before most of the time, but towards the end of the year, just didn't bother, and let themselves in without warning on two occasions. I will compliment them when it came to repairs however, as repairs were done efficiently and in a timely matter. This compliment may be better paid to their outsourcer, FixFlo, but either way, this system was handled well. When it became time to collect deposits, they said within 3 days of moving out we would receive information regarding deposits. After waiting a month and then threatening to take legal action, six weeks later from the date we moved out, we received 3/4 of our deposit. The other quarter, over £100 in total (between the 4 of us) was removed, claiming that it was used to cover the cost of removing rubbish (but also explained that the house was in excellent condition). This rubbish will not have been anything more than the waste accumulated by our flatmate who lived there for a week later than us, as before we left, we made sure to clean the place as much as possible. Apparently Mighty House hired Bill Gates armed with 24 carat gold bins to remove that rubbish. Tl;dr: We have had problems with Mighty House all year, and consider them to be an incompetent, unhelpful business, that at best has taken on more than it can chew with work load, and at worst is providing deeply negligent support in the aims of trying to squeeze as much money from their clients as possible. I would not recommend Mighty House under any circumstances.

GoogleUpon arriving at my house i found that the keys i picked up from Mighty House did not fit the locks. I contacted Mighty House, they then provided me with new keys, however these new set of keys also didn't fit any of the locks. I was stuck outside my house for one hour in the rain because of the key issue. It shouldn't be my job to keep going back and forth to Mighty House to solve trivial issues like this. We have had a number of issues with the house, which we logged and complained about by following the correct protocol, however we are still in the same position as we were before and nothing is being done to fix anything.

Mighty House deal with sales and investments, we do not deal with lettings or student properties. GoogleGreg, John and the rest of the Mighty House team were amazing. I needed to move fast to secure the property I was after. Both came round immediately and my property was listed on Right Move by lunchtime the same day and SSTC within 24 hours ! Unbelievable ! I was kept updated throughout the whole process and they made sure everything went through smoothly and swiftly. I was moved and in my new home in just 9 week. Thank you Mighty House x

GoogleFrom the whole journey of selling my flat and buying my new house (which happened to also be with them) . The Amanda, John, Greg and all the team at Mighty House could not have been more helpful. They were very realistic about the price for my flat which was good and at no point did I feel they were hard selling to me. It all felt genuine and honest. They made advertising very simple did everything I needed all in one price. They later added features like a video. I definitely made the right choice with Mighty House they kept me informed all the way through the process. Which was at times very stressful because that's selling and buying houses. But Mighty House were always there going above and beyond to find information and help things along. As well as excellent suggestions and solicitors and surveyors. They made the whole process much easier and are always on hand. In showing me houses I felt like they really understood what I was looking for and found the right houses for me. They were also willing to show houses outside the normal times and spend a long time on each viewing do you really get a good fell. That's great from both a buying and selling point of view. The price for there services was also very good and I am convinced they earnt every penny. Thanks Mighty House. I'm really happy in my new house. Adele.

GoogleSpeaking as a house buyer we were very happy with the service from Mighty House. We bought our first house back in 1970 and bought and sold a good few since.I would say dealing with Mighty House has been the best experience from any estate agent.Initial viewing with Greg Clifford was relaxed and not rushed. Questions were answered promptly. If he didn't have the answer he would find it and get back quickly. Gregs a bloke easy to get along with.All the staff I had contact with in person or on the phone were friendly and helpful Our purchase was complicated slightly because probate was involved but I think the staff did all they could to move things along.On the one occasion I met the seller I got the impression he was also happy with Mighty House. Yes I would recommend Mighty House.

GoogleI couldn’t recommend might house enough. We recently used them to sell our house. Due to Greg Cliffords ( head of sales) hard work and professionalism this was made easy and we luckily sold it within days. He presented our house excellently on Rightmove and communicated really well with us all the way to completion.

Every single person (even in the lettings team!) went above and beyond their duties to make this sale happen. There were some complications with the title on the property and a lot of paperwork as it was two HMOs into one. The Mighty House team, supported us unconditionally throughout the process. I have only good things to say. I also would like to commence them on their team work.
