I rented an apartment through Hurford Salvi Carr. The whole experience from first walking into their office until moving into my apartment has been a pleasure and very easy. They showed me an apartment on Tuesday and already on Thursday I was able to move in, they worked very hard to make it possible. The place is really nice as well, I am very happy with it! It was found by one of their agent after I described kind of what I was looking for, the apartment I saw in their office wasn't available and later in the day they sent me suggestions for other apartments, and they were all great. And they are all very nice. So I recommend this agency really highly!

Paid a spontaneous trip to the Limehouse office and managed to find our perfect flat right away. HSC staff (John & Jennie) were extremely helpful and dedicate. They made our flat hunting and moving in process so much less painful. Thank you again for the brilliant service!

Despite a slick negotiation process, once the deal was secured the after sale service has quite frankly been appauling. It's now 4 weeks since moving in and issues identified both before moving in and within the check in report have yet to be fixed. The long awaited handy man finally turned up today, but fixed nothing. Equally disappointing is the lack of ownership of the issue from anyone in Hurford Salvi & Carr to resolve (including both the Negotiator & Senior Property Manager). Would definitely not recommend using Hurford Salvi & Carr.

We have really appreciated the service provided by Hurford Salvi Carr. Looking for a flat to rent quickly, the letting negociatiors of the agency helped us to arrange a viewing matching with all our time constraints, answered to all our questions very quickly and came back to us with the confirmation of the rental within the 24hours. Reactive and pro-reactive, they explained to us everything and did the maximum to facilitate and accelerate our moving in. I highly recommend this property agency.

Needs some level of flexibility in dealing with potential tenants coming from countries outside the UK. We had a challenging experience going through the online reference application system that falls on Easter holidays where many people/references are on holidays. The timing to complete the whole process in 2 weeks time before the start of tenancy from our country of origin (Belgium) was frustrating. This could have been planned more effectively and realistically with unnecessary pressure.
Dear Gena, Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you had some challenges with the online reference system during the Bank Holiday weekend. Over 40% of our customers at the City & Clerkenwell office come from overseas and whilst there is sometimes an extra hurdle to overcome, the vast majority have a trouble free experience with the referencing and administration process.
