GoogleHaving used Holmes Naden a few years ago for my first move to Bollington. When i was moving back (this month) it was a great pleasure to work with the team again, they even remembered me. They are always on hand to sort out problems that arise and are always professional. Would recommend 100%

GoogleHolmes Naden are exactly what you are looking for in a local village estate agent. Their professional staff are friendly ,approachable and know their market in and around the Bollington area. Selling and buying houses can be very stressful (as we found with our last purchase) but Holmes Naden went above and beyond to make it as smooth sailing as possible. I would 100% recommend them and if I was to move again, I would only use them to sell my property as they provide such a personal service in true Bollington style.

GoogleExcellent ... I genuinely couldn’t recommend enough ! The staff are friendly, personable and informative. The service is prompt and efficient, patient and so helpful. The people I have dealt with face to face and via email/phone are personable and supportive. A refreshing contrast to other estate agents.

FacebookI went to Holmes Naden after a very stressful period of looking for somewhere. They instantly put me at ease and made me feel at home, and like a friend. The house I originally viewed was just not quite right but they knew of a house that had literally come on to the market that morning. I viewed it, met the landlord and that was it. I have been in my house for 3 years and as my boyfriend would tell you, I am very reluctant to leave. Holmes Naden couldn’t have made everything any easier. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who would listen (and did for quite a while after I’d moved in).

GoogleHolmes Naden have been both dishonest and incompetent. We have had the misfortune of having to deal with them over a period of two years both as tenants and when buying a property. Whilst we were tenants they failed to action most things in a reasonable timeframe or not at all. And I doubt the owner was aware when plumbing leaks were left running for days, fences remained broken for months, heaters broke and were never fixed and it was left to us to arrange for the gas to be checked, meaning the house was uninsured for a long period. When looking to buy houses with them, they didn’t seem to understand the post Brexit market stagnation, rudely and arrogantly rejecting an offer we made (which it turns out was way too high) on a house that still hasn’t been sold (that was in May 2017) on the basis that they could sell it at an inflated price ‘in a day’. We are left with the impression that they manage to survive by playing one party off against another by bending the truth and by having a near monopoly in this area. If they were operating in an area with stronger market competition, they would have to up their game significantly.

GoogleI have rented a property through holmes naden bollington and lived there for the past 14 months and the move in was great. The staff i have dealt with have all been great until today. I have now moved out of the premises and had a concern i needed clarification on with regards to a dispute with the landlord and spoke to Ellis for the first time. Ellis didnt listen to my concerns or even hear me out he took what the landlord had told him as the truth and was agressive really rude and totally unproffessional. Ellis had no facts with regards to the dispute only what the landlord had told him verbally this morning and i had proof in text messages that proved the lanlord was not being truthful yet ellis still spoke agressively to me in an argumentive manner and defended the landlord just by what he had been told verbally. I run my own business and have done for the past 6 years managing up to 15 staff and never would myself or any of my staff argue with a customer for 41 minutes or not listen to their side of the story without butting in and telling them thats not true? I feel so upset by the way ive been treated by both the landlord and the estate agent Ellis. I have never written a bad review before and im really sorry to have to write this as the company and the rest of the staff are not at fault and have all been really lovely to me . Ellis did not reflect the proffessionalism and high standards of care nor understanding that i would expect from such a reputable company. I shall be writing a formal complaint as i personally would not want a person representing my company this way.

GoogleI have used Holmes Naden a number of times (sales and purchases) and they have always proved to be most helpful and professional. I'd particularly mention Janet and Lyndsey on the Sales side and Ellis on Lettings. There is a reason they continue to be Bollington's leading Agency and that's simply because they collectively work hard to meet customer expectations and truly know the local market. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

GoogleWould like to make a review of someone who has really helped me through a rental property in times of need. I was up to my eyes in it Fred xmas with my business and I approached Holmes naden to help me sort contracts etc for the property. They took control right away easing the work load for me. In particular Ellis was the driving force around the work need, inventory, checks and contracts etc. I didn't need to be involved at all so that I could concentrate on my business saving me time and money emailing calling and traveling to and from to sort it out. The property has since come empty again and I approached them again to add it to the market and get it sorted. They have been very helpful and again Ellis helped in sorting the new tenant and when my old tenants were struggling to get a time for people to look round and photographer to come in they made good contact with the tenant and agreed they would use the spare key and in that time they found a new tenant. meaning the property isn't empty and not bringing an income in. All the staff I have been in contact with have been incredibly professional and very good at keeping me in the loop. I would like to thank the whole of Holmes naden and Ellis for their help in making my life easier in situations which have been made hard work everyday life and battles standing in the way. Look forward to working with them again in 12 months when the rental contract is up. Thanks you

GoogleI used Holmes Naden to sell my house and the house I bought in Bollington was also with Holmes Naden, so I experienced both buying and selling with them. Very friendly local staff that have been there a long time so plenty of experience and a pleasure to deal with. Particularly helpful using the local agent when selling your house, would definitely use them next time!

GoogleJanet has managed both my sales and purchases over a number of years and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her approach is professional, commercial and second to none. Her most impressive quality is her personal handling and attention to detail, which means both herself and her team have solved any potential problems before you are even aware they may arise. She prides herself on matching properties to her clients and I can confirm that if she says that she has "something special" for you, its likely you will experience the 'wow' as she has literally handpicked it for you. I have never once had to chase her or her team , they are proactive with all parties involved. Whether you get Janet, Ali or any of the team you will not be disappointed.

GoogleI cannot recommend Holmes naden enough. They were absolutely fantastic in helping me & my two children relocate somewhere safe after an awful experience elsewhere. They were polite , professional & went above & beyond for us. They had found us a new, long term home in a matter of 24 hours. I cannot express how I will forever be grateful to them all for their utter most kindness. (They even sang Moana with my youngest while I signed the paperwork!) Absolutely fantastic. Will only ever use them from now on.

GoogleI have never really trusted Estate agents, have always considered them like car dealers. Wrong I know but this was from two bad experiences in the past. This was until a recommendation from a friend I approached Holmes Naden the estate agents in Bollington to sell my property in the village. They were more than helpful in every way, and apart from the actual selling of the property gave advice on furniture removal and the various services needed with such a move, even to actually making the phone calls and making all the arrangements for me. It was an old property and there were complicated problems with boundaries before it could be sold. The Holmes Naden staff spent a lot of time on site sorting the dispute out. I can't recommend this agency nearly enough for the endless help and goodwill this agency gave and for their most helpful and friendly staff. Not forgetting the endless cups of tea, which is always a good sign!

GoogleI cannot express enough how wonderful the team have been throughout the process of buying my first house. Lindsay was our main contact who made the whole experience so enjoyable with nothing being too much trouble. I couldn’t imagine selling or buying a house through a different estate agent and will continue to recommend them to family and friends!
