After buying and selling many houses in my life I have never had an experience like I have had with this company from the beginning. I told this company I wanted a quick sale and was informed the buyer only had a chain for 1 and was ready to sign then to be told 10 days later this was not the case there was actually a chain of 3 and none were ready to sign. We then lost one property at this time because of this and decided to put it back on the market to be told 2 weeks later the previous buyer was ready to go ahead with the sale so we agreed and accepted the offer again for the property. We have spent the last 6 months constantly having to ring and email for updates and being spoken to in a very unprofessional manner as well as having to defend myself that I was not being rude but was asking for an explanation. We have had many issues such as being told mortgages were in place and signed for when this was incorrect, paperwork going missing, employees looking after sale leaving the company and us not being informed, one worded emails, being told we would get a call with an update that never comes, being told not to worry it was an issue with the solicitors not them, blaming the issues on buyers further down the chain, not listening to concerns, made to feel like we was mithering, having my case passed over to another colleague that told me face to face that she was not qualified to do my sale but she was taking over because of a phone call that occurred between me and the director at the beginning of the sale that ended in both parties shouting over each other and being asked the same questions over and over again. Now 6 months later I rang this morning for an update to be told they would ring me back as the person looking after my sale had left the company, 4 hours later no call so I contacted them and asked to speak to the manager to be told they have lots of clients to deal with but informed us that the buyer has pulled out but yet yesterday I was told the chain was talking about a final date and this morning was told they was asking for a boiler certificate which they had in the first week of the house being sold. I strongly believe they have not only just been informed of my buyer pulling out as he has already bought another house and instructed a new solicitor but yet they have said they did not know but if they had been corresponding with the buyers estate agents and solicitor like they have been telling me they would have known this. We have now took our property off the market with this company as we do not feel they have looked after our best interests and feel we have been told what we want to hear instead of truth. This sales team needs to be investigated. We have asked for Andrew Mikhail’s (executive director) email and are waiting on this information and are hoping to hear from him soon. It is factually right ! And it’s a pity you would not speak to me when i called you a number of time instead of passing me to someone that had left your company ! Six months of you telling me everything was fine even on the morning he so called pull out you was asking for the boiler certificate So every word is factually right We look forward to hearing from you Andrew so we can talk to you about the way our sale was handled and still await your email address?

I highly recommend this company for local sales. Everyone I have spoken with on the phone have been really friendly and courteous and nothing too much trouble. Brian was fantastic when showing me properties. So helpful and knowledgeable. He suggested looking at the property I eventually bought as I hadn’t considered it. Thank you. Sarah who went above and beyond to secure my sale after much to-ing and fro-ing late on Friday so that I wouldn’t be left in suspense over the weekend. Thank you A fantastic team

Amazing - thank you! It's actually prior to completing on our purchase that I write this review for David Davies (and Paula in particular) due to how extroadinary they have been. For reasons outside of their control (land registry, solicitor issues etc etc), we have had an arduous buying journey so far but wouldn't have made it to this point at all without the impeccable, diligent, speedy and caring attention we have received from Paula and the David Davies team. Regularly going above and beyond what should be expected of an agent, David Davies have been world class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for a moment. Thank you! Sam

What an absolute pleasure. We’re in the process of buying a property through David Davies and it’s been one thing after another with issues from Land Registry to changes in solicitors, all of which have been out of our control. David Davies, and Paula in particular, have been nothing but exemplary. Paula has handled everything with complete calmness while totally understanding the implications and stresses that each issue brought. Contentious, forward thinking and quick to action anything that’s come in - I’m not sure what more you could ask for. If it wasn’t for Paula and the David Davies team, our chain would have fallen apart and essentially left us homeless. We’ve still a way to go yet but if all else fails, I know with full confidence that it’s through no fault of anyone in the chain and that Paula has done everything she could and more. As the spearhead for the company, I’m not sure if they could ask for a better role model. Outstanding service and I just wish more companies held their work and customers in such high regard. Would recommend with zero hesitation. Thanks Paula x

This estate agents is absolutely brilliant. They went the extra mile to sell my property. They constantly chased both solicitors and I didn't have anything to do. A big thanks to Charli my account manager who kept me in the picture all the time.

I'm new in town and house hunting can be quite stressful. I was lucky to get the second place I viewed with David Davies.. Great service delivery! I had to go in a couple of times to complete and submit forms but that is their process. Laura was not just professional but helpful and totally amazing. She was away for a couple days but Ben was great as well. I will definitely recommend this agency to anyone looking to rent or sell property!
