GoogleLovely presented development, we started our journey with kiana who was very knowledgeable and brilliant throughout the reservation process! We have since been speaking with Jordan who has equally impressed us with her quick responses and willingness to go the extra mile! Overall very impressed with our journey. The site team have been there to answer our silly questions as first time buyers throughout our home demo and meet the builder appointment making the process very stress free. The finish on our new home is to a good standard and would happily recommend Bellway homes!

GoogleVery poor experience overall with Bellway! Over 15 weeks after a formal complaint raised regarding serious issues in our property we are still battling it. The team have no care and no urgency in getting problems sorted in our home! We had a serious heating fault for over 3 months, site team entering our property without permission, leaks in our bathrooms which took months to fix. The lack of professionalism, ignorance and care throughout is completely unacceptable!

GoogleFantastic experience before the sale, absolutely terrible after. Unlike many of the current reviews that focus only on sales interaction, this review is about the actual house we were handed over, and the quality is extremely poor. We received a “completed” home that was missing a kitchen plinth and had visible damage to several kitchen units. It’s obvious that no proper quality inspection was carried out, given the numerous DIY-level faults throughout the property. We have uneven flooring, in some places by as much as 9mm. The mastic work around the floors and throughout the house is appalling. There is paint all over the flooring and carpets, and multiple dents and dings in the plasterboard walls. What did we get? A token visit from the sales manager two days after completion, who repeated the usual line: “This is not how we do things.” And since then, nothing. No follow-up, no action. This review is based on our first week in the house, and I will update it depending on how the developer resolves these issues. Save yourself the stress and choose a different builder.

GoogleI would like to start by saying that our sales experience with The Ferns was good. Unfortunately, once that stage ended and we moved into the property, the service became extremely poor. To give some context, I have been living like this for three months now. I am currently sitting in my living room freezing, with the temperature at 14 degrees, because ongoing issues have still not been resolved. This has been raised multiple times and yet nothing has been done. There are also scratches on our worktops caused during the build that have not been sorted, and the grass in the garden is extremely lumpy and unfinished. My biggest piece of advice to anyone considering buying is do not sign anything confirming works are completed. We were encouraged to do this for initial snags, but it feels like this was simply a way to stop being chased to actually fix the problems. Overall, the aftercare has been incredibly disappointing. After three months of living here, I am fed up, cold, and frustrated, and I would not expect this level of service after such a significant purchase.

We are first time buyers and the whole process has been really stressful and scary at times but Alice has been there throughout, always happy to answer any questions and it made us feel really supported.
