Having bought one of the Barratt homes on The Brooks at Barrow we have found the whole experience shocking. Having an array of issues from the garden to needing replacement kitchen doors as they were fitted having been stored in a damp place leading to the seal lifting away. The garden is (or was) an absolute nightmare. I’ve just spent £3000, sorting it out. The rear wall has fallen down completely because it wasn’t filled, therefore due to poor workmanship. I’ve been in my home two years, now it’s past the point that it’s over to another department nothing is getting done, I’m still left with the kitchen doors in a mess, the rear wall is still in disrepair and Barrats are certainly not forthcoming in rushing to get things done, not interested! Would never buy again and would certainly not recommend!

Our back garden is UTTERLY disgusting. To call it a MUDPIT would be a insult to mud!! Laid at least 6 months after moving in(no garden over summer!!) Looks like it's never been turfed at all. Drainage laid by Barratts 2 doors up but NO answer to our emails! Yet another miserable summer in our new build!!! Don't buy one your garden will be horrendous!!!

Disappointed with nearly every step of our customer journey. The house was handed over in a shocking state! One long year of snagging a formal complaint and we still have things outstanding and feel as though we are being ignored now.
