GooglePoor service, sales team take weeks to get back to you and it comes across very obvious that they DO NOT CARE. Late on all houses, lie on updates and just all round poor service. Wish i read the reviews on trustpilot before proceeding to buy a house through avant. If you were thinking about purchasing through avant my advice would be don't!

GoogleWhen we first stumbled on Cadley Village we instantly fell in love with the development, at the start, we really felt valued and felt that we were given all the information we needed. Until we paid the "non-refundable booking fee" then we were shown the true colours of Avant and what they would do to get a sale. We have been lied to a number of times, given false promises, had to chase daily and worst of all, this was a dream home for us. Following raising our concerns with the Regional Manager, who to be fair did listen to our concerns and say she would do everything she could, and again to be fair she did. The follow up from that by asking to confirm what was agreed in email never materialised, I must have emailed Avant more to chase something up rather than to answer something they openly talk to you about. This was supposed to be an exciting dream home, which will forever now leave a sour taste in our mouths. We are due to complete this week, can't get through to anybody again.. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence...

GoogleWorst customer service I have ever experienced. Almost impossible to get hold of, they lie about everything, and they don't care about their customers because "people will always buy houses". Save yourself some stress and dignity and buy a house with someone else

GoogleWe brought a house from these never ever again we moved in, in November and we are now in mid March and with a lot of outstanding issues to be rectified the customer service is none existent. They don’t even return your emails or phone calls. And when you do speak to some one they tell you complete lies They send so called tradesman to come and try and sort out any issues out but make it worse as they are always in a rush and only have an hour to do it. I would advise anyone not to buy from Avant homes the finish is shocking it’s like a 15 year old house and Avant is now persimmon homes which says it all. All I can do is advise everyone to stay well clear of this development you will be so disappointed like our selfs stay well clear

GoogleI do not live on this development. I do not know what defects are being alleged by the developer as arising from the extension works. From previous experience some 15 years ago the NHBC are not involved in the rectification process of defects occurring during the first 2 years of initial occupation. Developers do not tell you this. I would suggest that Mr Singh, and any other residents experiencing the same problems, check if this is still the case, and if so take legal advice and action if appropriate. Colin Boon Monmouthshire

GoogleAfter seeing a news article about the problem Mr Singh is having, avant homes need to sort their work out. Too many new build developers are taking advantage of customers. They need to be regulated better and avant homes is a prime example

GoogleMy partner & I newly purchased & moved into our home property on this development & I'm extremely happy with our purchase, the build quality is fantastic & yes we had some snags & some items which were delayed but this was quickly rectified by the site management team! It seems to be that we have had a better experience than some. The area is great & if I ever spot any defects the guys are round as quickly as possible to rectify. Thanks Avant! 😁

GoogleFell in love with a plot here at Cadley village. We just enquired to begin with and pre qualified to afford the house, assured by the sales team and the recommended financial advisor that all would be okay. We asked tons of questions about the house and the process trying desperately not to fall for the hidden horrors of new build properties that you hear about and eventually felt confident enough to place a reservation fee on plot 45. Even the sales advisor was surpassed how many more questions we asked compared to the majority of other people. Things changed pretty soon after we signed, as the mortgage offer couldn't complete despite assurances from the Evolve financial advisor, the interest rates kept going up, meanwhile the quality assurances and features were thought we were buying kept going down! The sales people do not give you all the details of the spec changes that are frequently advertised but may not apply, they cover themselves by offering pdf files of what 'is' included but NOT what had been excluded from previous specs which have been advertised broadly, it's a very deceptive practice. Throughout the journey from enquiry to reservation we kept finding out the expectations we were lead to believe by the multiple marketing outlets, versus terribly photocopied pdf files, select information from sales and spec sheets weren't what we'd actually be paying for. We ultimately decided to cancel and had half our fee taken from us (£250) on the same week they were advertising reservations at £99. Every large new house builder will be corporate acting and need to cover their bases but Avant homes are a shameful company that are deceptive. It's been months since this happened and we've given them chances to rectify this situation but alas they have not. We are glad we didn't make the mistake of buying an Avant home. Good luck to anyone who does, you're going to need it.

GoogleWorst experience ever .please stay away from these people My friend Dr.Afaq saleem has bought a 3 bedroom house here and the quality of everything is so bad .washrooms started leaking,doors started breaking and many more within 3 moths .On top of that they have been not helpful at all at fixing the stuff .it feels so bad looking at my friend repenting why he had bought from these people .He is so stressed out .stay away guys from these Worst quality of houses and all material

GoogleIf only i had an option for zero star. Worst experience ever,since we have moved here in uk all our friends have bought homes with different housing societies/builders and for all of them the worst experience we had was with Avant homes. My humble friend bought house with Avant and has been facing problems from day to day basis ,for someone with 1st home he had a terrible experience from the start. Initially he was told that the fridge /washer/oven cannot be included in the property as it has passed the building stage. However when we visited the property the fridge and oven were integrated already with wrong doors and wrong kitchen top. They then agreed to change.Delaying the move in date. This does not stop here, doors were damages-and he has still been trying to get it changed after a year Having said that-started having water leak from the toilet For which till date more then 10visits are done -wasting of time and still problem is not fixed. He is totally frustrated and drained now. I strongly recommend NOT TO BUY any new house with Avant. They might look fancy to you but they are s***holes!
