GoogleI first came across Scott and Fin when they were acting for the seller of the flat I eventually bought. Despite being on the other side of the deal, they stood out immediately - professional, transparent, and highly proactive. They clearly wanted the deal to happen, but without ever being pushy. It was handled smoothly and efficiently from start to finish, and that’s when I knew they were very good. The sale wasn’t simple either. The property came with unusually high service charges, and required proper context to make sense to any buyer. Rather than gloss over it, Scott took the time to explain the rationale clearly and honestly, which made all the difference. It wasn’t just about selling a flat, it was about selling the story behind it, and they did that exceptionally well. Throughout, both Scott and Fin were incredibly responsive - quick to reply, happy to chase things when needed, and always on top of the details. You don’t often come across agents this capable. They're absolutely worth what they charge, and then some. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Solid people who are excellent at what they do.

I was initially sceptical about the merits of an estate agent, but Scott soon proved me wrong and completely transformed my opinion and won me over. From start to finish, he was approachable, candid and honest- dare I say it traits I haven’t typically experienced from estate agents! He was always quick to respond to my questions, kept me updated at every stage, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We encountered a number of stumbling blocks and tricky challenges towards the latter end of the sale being completed, but thanks to Scott and his team, they were able to help navigate choppy waters and keep the sale on track through to completion. I couldn’t be happier with the service and outcome, and I would highly recommend Anderson Rose to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent. Truly a first-class experience!

GoogleI initially chose AR based on their strong reviews to both sell my property and find a new one. They were very professional and thorough when assessing my property, which gave me confidence at first. However, when it came to viewing potential new properties, I found it extremely difficult to get appointments with them. Even though I hadn’t yet listed my property but was just about to, we eventually viewed a home we really liked and wanted to make an offer on. Before submitting the offer, the (junior) member of staff who showed us around asked me to provide a detailed written profile about myself, including my profession and personal situation, to share with the seller. I found this quite intrusive, but I went ahead and provided the information anyway. The matter was then referred to a more senior colleague, who was reluctant to submit our offer because we weren’t yet in a completed chain. I insisted that our reasonable offer be passed on and asked that the senior agent, with whom I had already met and spoken several times, call me to discuss, but that never happened. As expected, our offer was rejected. While I can’t confirm it, I suspect the agents may have influenced that decision. Since then, I’ve heard nothing further from AR. Within the following week, our own property received an offer and we’ve since found a new home through another agency, meanwhile, the property we tried to buy through AR is still on the market and now listed for less than our original offer. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend AR. They seem unwilling to act in the best interests of the seller unless a deal is guaranteed, which is disappointing given their otherwise professional presentation.
