Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings.

Terrible service, avoid!

Terrible service, would not recommend. Would give zero stars if I could! There was no feedback following viewings, zero communication or market updates, and I had to point out listing errors multiple times (including the lease length being incorrectly shown as zero years!). I only received a brief, non-committal apology. I’ve now withdrawn the property. I wish I’d gone with an independent originally, someone who actually cares.

Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number.

⁷I would give 0 if I could. Terrible experience with fox&sons London Road Brighton. We had our house advertised with them for bearly 6 months. We had 3 viewings & 10 cancellations, however, when you looked, they claimed we had 13 viewing. Our biggest mistake was to go with them. Totally unprofessional photos. We changed the agent and within a week we had 4 viewing & one offer!! Additionally, when we left this agent, they carried on advertising our house without our permission with a new price!! Dispute both written & verbal communications! Totally unprofessional. We should have read the reviews and avoided them at all cost!! So far we have had 2 offers and might have the final offer soon.

We recently began house-hunting in Shoreham-by-sea and viewed five properties on our first day with Layla Gordon, a trainee negotiator at Fox & Sons. Layla did a superb job. She really understood what was needed at that stage of a property search. She listened attentively to us, posed pertinent questions, provided invaluable contextual information on the locality and the individual properties, and did all this with real warmth and interest. She demonstrated an impressive combination of professional and interpersonal skills. At the end of our viewings, we were surprised by the property that most held our interest. Layla arranged a second viewing but unfortunately the property was taken off the market before we could see it again. Layla communicated speedily and empathically with us about this development. Overall, our experience with Fox & Sons and specifically with Layla Gordon could not have been better.

Awful mortgage advising service

Booked an appointment with one of their mortgage advisers, a lot of info i did not need to know that the company has x branches and have done x money on mortgages, just to be cancel on the second appointment. Got back to me after 4months saying he would help me that time, after a couple exchanges no more correspondence ive no idea whats going on. Meanwhile was contacted by another mortgage adviser she said to give her a change she’s different from her colleague. First appointment same things, second appointment a no show. Whats wrong with you people? Unbelievable. At least have the decency to cancel the appointment, i got out of work for the appointment waited 1h, even emailed and nothing.

Went to Shoreham Fox & Sons to look at Properties and also needed to re-mortgage as our fix term was coming to an end. Met their Mortgage Consultant, Oliver Ostler, who was very professional and knowledgeable. Fantastic viewing with Jack from the Crawley branch

Had a viewing with Jack from the Crawley branch yesterday. He was absolutely fantastic! Jack greeted us with a warm and welcoming manner, gave us a little local knowledge before heading in to the property. He made myself and my partner feel completely at ease and built a great repour with us straight away adding his humour and great personality to the viewing. He was super informative about the property and could answer all of our questions, we didn't feel pressured at any point which of course made the experience much more enjoyable and exciting for us. Jack made us feel super comfortable and didn’t rush us with our viewing and was professional throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable experience looking for our first home. The brighton branch

The brighton branch, has taken 2 years to get my dad's flat sold after he died. Recommended to sale the flat at auction by Ray Murphy, that fell through after months of trying to get it sold,then went down the normal route. This all starts out fine ,in 2022,then had two more offer ,these were not satisfactory, finally had an offer in August 2024 which has taken 5 months of us chasing to get over the line.
