Great Service with friendly staff

When I needed to rent out my property in Aberystwyth I contacted All the various Letting Agents for information. Padarn Lettings came out with not only the best Management Package but it also came with a friendly and caring staff. They also work hard to ensure my property is occupied and also deal with any repairs and safety checks to ensure the tenants are living safely in the property. All of this is a huge weight of my mind. Over the years I have built a great friendship with Beth and her staff who are always both friendly and professional in person and on the phone.

Extremely satisfied Landlord

I have been a client (Landlord) of Padarn since Beth Thomas opened in 2002. I have properties in Aberystwyth that Beth and her Colleagues have always worked diligently and conscientiously on my behalf. As a solicitor, I worry about reputation but they keep me up to date and look after me and the safety and well being of my tenants. They ensure the properties are up to standard and deal with all repairs and any issues. I know Padarn care for me as a client and my tenants and treat my properties as if they are the owner so that I never have to worry. They have been instrumental in upgrading the properties each year and act as my eyes. Always professional but with a friendly manner. They are firm with me as a Landlord and tenants if need be. I can not speak more highly of them. I hope they will carry on looking after my properties for many years ahead. AVOID OR PROCEED WITH CAUTION Couldn't have had a worst experience with this letting agency, deeply disappointed with the service we have had. The company breached the contract made, on several occasions. One particular example being the lack of sufficient heating within the property for a number of weeks along with a boiler that was ill advised to be used. I would highly recommend using a different letting agency unless you want to risk having the same experience myself and my housemates received this year.

Would not recoomend, or take caution if plannimg to live here. Had an awful experience with this letting agency, I have had no heating in my room since September, no heating around the house for sevel days. We had been advices not to use the boiler and was promised a new one more than two weeks ago. We are paying bills for this, and including the washing machine that we having been able to use for over a week. We have had a lot of problems with the house in which they haven't made any actions to take this seriously. They are happy to breach their contract when they please, for example not giving you the 24 hours notice for a house viewing, and that's just one out of 20.

I rented with Padarn for just under 5 years in total. As a student in a 7 bedroom shared house for 2 years and for 2 and a half years after graduating in a lovely flat which had everything I needed. Beth and the rest of the team at Padarn have always been helpful, friendly and available to contact if you have any issues. If/when I need to rent in Aber again in the future my first choice of a letting agents would be Padarn. Would definitely recommend to both students and professionals.
