FacebookMeet Gareth on a Wednesday evening for a valuation and to see about putting my house up on the market,Within 10 hours of it going live on right move the house was sold, didn’t even have time to put the for sale sign up Gareth was very professional and really knew his stuff which helped with super quick sale of the house,Gareth is always available at the end of the phone which he said he would be, we was in contact up till any time which I think also helped in the super fast sale as I noticed Gareth works throughout the whole day not just to 4:30 like some he is there till late on the end of the phone I couldn’t recommend gareth enough! We viewed quite a few houses before we decided which one and had our offer accepted and nothing was ever too much trouble, always made availability and time for us, the sale was never pushy and we actually looked forward to seeing him at each viewing.We had a bit of a challenging sales process and things took a bit longer than usual our end but he dealt with all parties very professionally with it all completing very quickly at the end.Would high recommend Penhill Jones and thank you for helping us buy our first home

FacebookI feel awful for writing this, but I didn’t have a brilliant experience and I totally regret buying the house which Gareth Advertised. I’m hoping to put it up on the market as soon as I’ve fixed the problems which I encountered less than a month of moving in. The house I spent a LOT of money on was falsely advertised and had problems which the seller doesn’t care about. It was advertised with running electric to a big shed out the back and it turns out that this was false advertising as there is no running electric there (one of the reasons I purchased it) There are missing keys to windows so if there was a fire I cannot get my children out and sockets directly under the sink which I think both are health and safety issues. Little did I know there was a slow leak so within 3 weeks my whole kitchen was flooded so I’ve got to rip the whole kitchen and flooring up. And there was plastic pipes close to the boiler which there never should be. My bedroom windows also do not shut, there’s an big gap leaving cold air in (not the best due to being winter) but the seller has said they did when they were here. I’ve offered numerous times for the seller to come and shut them but no response and they’ve also not responded to the “running electrics” Many bodge jobs completed by novice builders. I didn’t think the property would be false advertised otherwise I’d never have bought it. Moral of the story please check EVERYTHING when you view any home instead of having to fork out thousands of pounds on fixing things which were advertised as working
I'm surprised you wouldn't recommend Gareth. Doing a full survey on a house is due diligence that should be undertaken by the purchaser as well as looking at the house thoroughly and checking out the sellers claims. This is not the Estate Agents purview. Therefore no fault of Gareths.
