I have just taken over the tenancy of one of their properties, which they negotiated on behalf of the Landlord, and they could not have been more helpful from the initial viewing through to handover of the keys. A very thorough process, as expected, but done with charm and courtesy throughout. Thank you team Susie Smith Lettings for all your help. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a rental property or, indeed, anyone looking to rent their property to a new Tenant.

From the initial viewing, being the intermediary between the landlord and ourselves, to the handing over of keys, they were extremely professional. We were kept in the loop throughout the whole process and received lots of helpful guidance and advice. They assisted us in a very friendly manner all the way through the process, making it very straight forward and easy. I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for rented accommodation. GoogleWe’ve been with Susie Smith as our managing agents for the past 7 years, and the experience has been nothing but excellent. They’ve always been helpful, professional, and quick to respond to any queries or issues we’ve had over the years. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been friendly and approachable, but a special mention has to go to Lesley, she’s been absolutely brilliant throughout. Her support and communication have made everything so much easier. The moving out process was completely stress-free and handled smoothly from start to finish. We’re really grateful for how easy they made it all, and we’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, friendly, and efficient letting agents whether a landlord or prospective tenant.

GoogleTenant Review: I started renting a new property several weeks ago with a different letting agent and the experience has been so bad I wanted to share my positive experience with Susie Smith. We rented a property with Susie Smith from 2016-2017 and we had a great experience with them. Issues were always fixed promptly and the communication was excellent. We always knew what was happening and were kept in the loop with regards to changes or repairs. Whenever we called/emailed the responses were fast, polite and professional. I would recommend.

GoogleLiars, we viewed a property a few weeks ago, expressed interest in the property and were told nearly two weeks later the landlord was going to speak with other family members as they were thinking of selling the property due to the amount of work the property needed prior to new tenants moving in. The agent said they will update us if anything changes. We did not receive any updates. I searched for property this evening and found the property had been let. We were clearly lied to about the property.

GoogleBy far the nicest Lettings Agency I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with in York. Susie is absolutely lovely and very helpful, she was the only agent to give us extensive detail in defense of a couple living under the new HMO guidelines for a shared habitation. She even took time after our call, of her own will to find further details to refer to us in a voicemail! Though the agency does not have as many listings as others in York, I encourage anybody to get in touch with Susie & co.
