GoogleI was very happy with the service I received when recently selling my lease. The sale took longer than anticipated through no fault of their own and although a little frustrating at times the team dealt with it proficiently. They were very friendly, patient, and professional at all times, especially the lovely Janet, nothing was too much trouble for her, she just got on and dealt with whatever was thrown at her. I’d also like to thank Rosie & Lucy who helped play a part In making the sale come to fruition.
Thanks guys you were wonderful 💖

GoogleOutstanding from start to finish. There is one very big difference with Barry Crux & Co, the knowledge and support is fantastic and if you should hit difficulties outside of your control? they are there consistently to help. I can not thank them enough in helping me sell my bar.

Google5 Star sums it up!!
Employed Barry Crux & Co to find new tenants for our pub (The Rose & Crown) and am pleased to report that they have now found us new people with impeccable backgrounds of success in the industry & looked after everything from start to finish. At times, there were some difficult issues to resolve, yet negotiations were handled amicably by them with total professionalism that only people with years of experience can achieve.
This isn't the first time that we've used Barry Crux & Co. They recently successfully found new tenants for two other businesses that we own (a hairdressers & a beauty business).
Whilst Barry has been our principal contact, we must also mention his very knowledgable staff who thoroughly understand our needs. It's great to know that your phone call will be dealt with by someone trustworthy & capable and that you'll get your enquiry answered rather than passed on.
We just wouldn't now consider using anyone else as we have been delighted by their service. Simples!

GoogleLooked after the sale of my cafe that we had bought over 12 years previous through them. Excellent service provided, nothing is too much trouble and always go above and beyond to make sure things progress as quickly and smoothly as possible. Rosie also dealt with our rent review during that period, and Janet is a true credit to the business.

GoogleNot a company to use if you want things done promptly and accurately. Six weeks late to deliver the service we paid for and littered with errors. Barry is never available to take telephone calls and no-one else ever seems able to help in his absence. Not recommended if you want things done quickly.

GoogleBarry Crux & Co were my company's landlord for over ten years. I had numerous dealings with their staff, got to know their other tenants, and some clients too. Barry & Co are passionate about professionalism and quality of service. They're honest, straightforward, flexible, and take a keen interest in the well-being of their customers. I highly recommend their services.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

GoogleWhat ever you do make sure you do not use this agent
They do not answer the phone the staff are rude and snobby and have no idea what the word sale means
They are old fashioned in the way of business and I can’t understand how anyone still let’s them sell a property.
York desperately needs a new commercial agent to give this guy a shove as he seems to have the monopoly and lost the will to give any customer care.
If you don’t believe this review try and call them or enquire about a property they don’t even respond.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleMy wife and I have used Barry Crux on 2 separate occasions to sell our businesses. They have always been extremely professional in their manner. Janet, on reception, was our contact, and kept us in the loop with the many viewings we had. Sadly we will be unable to use their services again, as we have now retired!
