I had a great experience with Town & County Property Auctions. Paul and the team were really helpful in guiding me through the auction process, they were informative with regards to the property during viewings and very professional throughout. This was the first time I had purchased via an auction and was very grateful to Paul and Lloyd for all of their amazing guidance and support in securing the property I really wanted. Thank you πŸ™. I would highly recommend them and happily use again.

Another cut throat property auctioneers that produce mickey mouse contracts on a whim to squeeze the buyer harder into paying for laughable auctioneers fees. Comprising of a combination of paying the auctioneer fees, the sellers auction listing and contract fees. Then there's the auction legal pack written contract itself which the buyer is also expected to pay for. The buyer has to also pay the seller a deposit plus VAT if that property sells. Let's not forget all fees all have VAT added to them. All fees to be handed over immediately to auction company before conveyancing starts.Which based on their ridiculous 28 day completion demands, corners will be cut and proper searches will not be carried out. And there's a possibility the buyer forfeits their fees if the 28 day completion isn't met (clause in the contract). Resulting in the buyers conveyancing company to have to claim off their own insurance company to cover the costs at a daily rate of compensation to the seller and auctioneer. Lastly the buyer themselves have to cover the cost of their own conveyancing team! Anyone selling a property at auction is desparate to offload a problem that the local estate agents can't shift or the seller is too impatient and greedy to compromise and wait. Buyer be super aware, you don't get a bargain at property auctions anymore, you do get your pockets and bank accounts emptied though instead paying extortionate unjust buyers fees and extra fees the auctioneers can slap into the buyers bill! The whole of the property auctioneer industry in the UK should be investigated and the industry should be legally governed properly be either the government or a legally authorised official body. The buyer SHOULD NOT have to pay the sellers fees or any other additional fees. The whole idea is preposterous and nothing short of daylight robbery. Stick to buying properties on the high street estate agency route. It's the seller who should be paying for a property home report in England like they legally have to do in Scotland to sell a home. And the seller should be paying to sell their home, not the buyer!!

I'm so glad I chose Town & Country to handle my property. Dealt with the North Wales and Chester team and they were incredibly helpful and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Town & Country to anyone looking for a professional and reliable service.

Good Experience

Had a good experience with Town and Country Wrexham today. I'm a landlord who manages my own rental property, but with the new legislation with Rent Smart Wales coming in on the 1st December I called around a few agent to ask there advice and out of the 5 agents I called only only Simon from Town and Country was happy to give me advise. Following my call I have decided to allow them to manage my property moving forward. I would highly recommend Town and Country Wrexham

Shocking service

Terrible service. We were on the market for less than 2 weeks with this agent.During this time it was impossible to get the marketing correct they blamed Rightmove for their mistakes. I had to contact Rightmove myself and they immediately dealt with the problem after the agent stating it was not possible to change.Cancelled viewings were not passed on until the time of the actual viewing.Took 3 days to get a return phone call from the manager and when I aired my complaints he was completely disinterested and informed me that I could withdraw the property at any time which obviously I did.

I reluctantly put my Late Mother's home up for auction after it had been for sale with a local estate agent. Mr Paul Davies guided me through the process and nothing was too much trouble. When I had a problem with the buyer accessing the property before the Sale had Completed, Paul Davies dealt with it fast and efficiently. He was always polite, kind and happy to advise, often out of office hours. Mr Davies and Town and Country do go the extra mile, that some other Estate Agents fail to do.

From a relative novice to auctions (apart from homes under the hammer) Paul explained the process in a succinct manner and kept us up to date with the extent of interest at all times. We had agreed the reserve but Town and Country managed to exceed this by Β£14000! Well impressed and guaranteed completion without lengthy paperwork. Would definitely use this sales method should the occasion arise and would certainly recommend T&CPositiveQuality, Professionalism

Very Profesional Service

I've been looking for a rental property for a while. Whenever I book viewings the agents either don't turn up or cancel viewings just before they were due to take place but not Town & Country. They called me on the day of the viewing to confirm the property was still available. After viewing the property I immediately filled in the application form and was surprised when they said they don't charge admin fees. My application was processed quickly and I was kept informed during every step. I would highly recommend using Town & Country, all the members of lettings were happy to help with any query I had

Really disappointed potential buyers

We were looking to buy a house with this letting agent and were extremely disappointed by their lack of communication!Found a house we loved and saw the property twice, then were contacted when another party also had a 2nd viewing of the property. We asked to be informed if any offers were made on the property as we were serious about making an offer. We already have an AIP and needed to pop to the bank to do one more thing & our appointment was a few days from when we were told about the 2nd viewing. We received no contact from Town and Country before our appointment so as soon as we were done, called the agency to put an offer in on the property. This is when they decided to tell us that an offer had been accepted on the property and it was too far along for us to put in a counter offer.Disappointment does not cover our emotions & shows that this agency are not interested in getting the best price for the properties they sell as long as they get their cut & an easy sale!

Looks like they can do good service only if you are british, first time I spoke to them kind lady on phone informed me she will give me a ring back, which never happened, then hanged me up when I rang them again! I was polite and that what she paid back. Keep this up! Good luck

We were tenants with them for years. Our landlord was reasonable so after a few years we ended up communicating directly. Town and Country were terrible. They often missd appointments, took a long time to deal with issues (including running water) and tried to over charge us when we left. Avoid like the plague.

Efficient service

I used town and country to buy my house a few years ago and was happy with how everything went so I decided to use them when selling. Again I was happy with how everything was dealt with and they achieved a sale in 3 weeks and kept me updated the whole time. I would use again and recommend.

Careless and uninterested

We were trying to let a property remotely after our tenants moved out. T&C offered to look over the place for us and note if there was any damage or dirt. They reported that it was fine, but what they said was far from the truth. We ended up losing out quite a bit because of this.
