GoogleWe have been using Phillip James Lettings since 2008 to help us with 2 flats we rent out. Prior to that we used a couple of the bigger names out there but I’m so glad we made the change - and stuck to it!
The service they give is friendly, super helpful and personal - and that goes for our tenants as well. Having had some very rude annd brusque treatment from various lettings companies when I was a renter, this was important to me as I didn’t want people renting from us to feel as I had back then.
Lyn is super lovely and patient, always there with advice if needed and recommendations for people who can fix any problems in the flats quickly if we can’t (we also get friendly, gentle reminders about things we might have forgotten about!!)
Also, over all those years, each time we’ve needed to find a new tenant, they’ve always handled it so well, finding us lovely people quickly and without any drama, and making the check in process easy and smooth for all involved.
We’d wholeheartedly recommend them.

GoogleI have been a tenant with Phillip James in Worthing for nearly two years and they have been great to deal with. Lyn has been especially helpful and if there are ever any issues she always gets them sorted very fast and with no fuss. Everything is efficient, workmen turn up when promised and any inspections or visits are always booked well in advance. As a solo tenant having an agent I trust is hugely important to me, I would definitely recommend them.

GoogleHorrible company full of bullies. Don’t believe the good reviews, they’re made by family members of workers there. Special mention of Lyn who repeatedly harassed us once we handed our notice in with ridiculous demands. Only left as she repeatedly ignored our complaints of mold so bad part of the ceiling fell down. She also held a viewing when we were out without our consent and laughed it off despite leaving our dog terrified. Funnily enough later denied it in front of her bosses. Shame we didn’t record the call of her admitting it. Avoid at all costs

GoogleDue to the fact that the property is no longer suitable, I have recently ended my tenancy with Phillip James Letting Agents. Throughout the four years I was renting with them I found them to be helpful, approachable and very friendly.
If something needed to be done within the property they were prompt, efficient and went out of their way to make sure that costs (if there were any) were kept as low as possible.
I can only hope that the agents I am renting through now, follow suit!
