GoogleMy friend and I were lucky enough to be invited to the wedding of a great young couple ( Nick & Becca) at Hazel Gap and told to book on to the Welbeck Estate , we stayed at the"'Winnings' and it was just beautiful.. very traditional stone built residence, manicured lawns but with all the mod cons required for modern living.
We had two en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a very nice separate living room with wood burning stove, which I couldn't resist using, just for the lovely glow. Altogether a great time and I will definitely be returning to see more of the surrounding areas.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait

GoogleSmashing day out with lovely food, a farmer's shop, art gallery, museum and garden centre, all sharing one car park. The kids were thoroughly entertained with the hands on in the gallery and museum.

GoogleReally enjoyed wandering around this place. The restaurant looks fab - even though we didn't use it. The garden centre was lovely and the plants looked really healthy. I bought some lavender at a really good price. We are planning to do a walk there soon and then eat at the restaurant.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

GoogleLots to see and do for a wide range of people. The portrait gallery is exceptional. Knowledgeable staff too. We enjoyed the farm shop. Which provides a choice of vegatables, drinks, pastries and of course high quality meats.Visited onWeekdayWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNot sure

GoogleFantastic exhibition the people working there were very knowledgeable and friendly. The shop sold wonderful products some of them home made. The site is right next to one of the best gardening centres I’ve ever been to. Full marks.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure

GoogleI work here but would advise to come and visit. Although a lot of the estate/grounds are private and there is no public access to these areas. However there are some beautiful walks all of which can be viewed on the internet. The Dukeries Centre with its Garden Centre, Farm Shop, Harkey Hallery and renowned Portland Gallery which houses rare historical artifacts and paintings.....all free entry!!!
