Craig the maintenance technician

We brought our St Modwens home in Branston two years ago and as with all new builds we had a couple of snags. We have had Craig the maintenance technician with us for a few days to fix all these minor issues and he was a superstar. So polite, worked clean and tidy, finished all jobs to an incredible level and even managed to work around our daughters nap times without disturbing her. A true gentleman, a credit to St Modwen and an incredible all round technician with no task however big or small being too much trouble. Thank you Craig, you are a legend.

Excellent aftercare service

Having moved into our new build there were the inevitable ‘snags’. We expected some challenge from the developers (that’s what happens right?) wrong! Josh could not have been more helpful. In terms of aftercare service, Josh demonstrated all the skills required as an aftercare/service provider. He is a great listener, empathetic, even better problem solver and fantastic negotiator (to our advantage) Always jovial, nothing is too much trouble. He is also reliable. I have to say all of the St Modwen employees and subcontractors were fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Shout out to Callum, John, plumbing and groundwork lads.

Branston Leas

I emailed to just enquire about a property on the Branston Leas estate, Staffordshire, at the end of Dec. We were first time buyers. Tigan at the sales office was super helpful and offered support every step of the way, and we completed at the end of Jan! Literally a month all in. We were so nervous and unsure of the whole process, but Tigan was brilliant (and still is regarding and issue/support we may need) and everything moved seamlessly!

Popped in to the sales office just to…

Popped in to the sales office just to see the show homes and ended up buying a new home all thanks to Kyle! We were kept up to date from start to finish, Kyle has been an absolute pleasure to deal with since the second we walked into his sales office and will be greatly missed once the development is finished. The quality of the home is second to none, we haven’t had any major issue since we’ve moved in in March and any snags we had after moving in were sorted within a couple of weeks. Would highly recommend St Modwen to anyone, great quality homes which stand out from others thanks to their stunning huge windows!

Buying a house with St Modwen Homes was…

Buying a house with St Modwen Homes was over all a good experience. Purchasing with a chain can be very stressful and at points we wasn’t sure it was going to go ahead. However, with great communication from the team especially Tigan we always felt reassured as she motivated us on. Some minor snagging issue were noticed after completion but the team sorted these issues and nothing was ever too much to ask. A massive thank you to Mick, Dave & Tigan for all of their efforts. We are very grateful and are looking forward to enjoying our new home.

St Modwen wasn’t a well known builder in the North East of England I stumbled on them by chance fell in love with their fabulous unique show home and went on to purchase a plot. Everything so far has been excellent, professional and without issue. The first phase visit to my plot was informative friendly and the team couldn’t have done more to keep me updated. Beautiful house designs and layouts. Personally choose the Houghton design for the “disguise” open kitchen plan. As a first buyer, it’s been a smooth experience going to different stages with great support from the Team, first it was Rob and now, Kyle whose best statement is “you can ask me anything whatsoever” and as a first time buyer, that’s a good thing to hear. Things started off great but promises have not been kept and an entire housing estate is fed up...

We moved into our house in Locking Parklands 2.5 years ago. There was a lost of over 300 snags after completion. All of which have still not been addressed despite the snags being reported within the two year timeline. Some of the more major snags include no drainage pipe on the back of our garage which is causing two neighbouring gardens and properties to FLOOD.
