We bought and sold with WH Brown in Woodbridge and experienced a first class service from start to end. We are so pleased we chose them over other agents as they not only got the best price for our house, but also helped us source our new, dream home! Sharon was always at the end of the phone providing us with updates of our move. This was particularly important as we got caught up in the first COVID-19 national lockdown when everything came to a grinding halt. WH Brown and Sharon in particular, kept the communications going for 8 months and made our sale/purchase happen without any problems. Using WH Brown was worth every penny as without their up to date knowledge of the Woodbridge market we would not be in the beautiful house that we now live in. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone who wants an outstanding service.

Unfortunately i didn't have the best experience with William H Brown. I had found a property i liked and went to view it. this property was a project, a project i was happy with. after asking the estate agent if it was structurally safe to live in he assured us that a survey had been done on the house by the owner to confirm it was, and that this paperwork would be given when it came to having the house assessed. after paying the £465 valuation fee i was assured by the same estate agent that the seller would be getting the paperwork straight over to them as soon as he was back from holiday. during this time i went back to the property to measure up certain areas. at this point i was told by the estate agent that he was "in the naughty corner" at work and was going to be leaving, but was aloud to finish up this deal. fast forward a couple of weeks, i have a call from William H brown to be told that the seller has backed out, and the estate agent i was dealing with no longer worked there. after speaking with my mortgage advisor at Connells and explaining that the seller backed out when i was waiting on the survey paperwork, he then mentioned that when he had spoken to my estate agent he had been told that there was never any survey done on the house. I was then advised to request a refund from William h brown, as it all sounded like a big red flag. after contacting them and asking to put in a formal complaint, twice! i was assured someone would be in touch regarding the matter. this was months ago and i am still yet to have a reply.

Daisy was so informative from start to finish they did exactually what they said they would do. I had been on the market with a couple of smaller agents before with very few viewings with no feed back. and was very wary of going with a larger firm but I am glad I did my property was sale agreed within a matter of days and the whole process was incredibly quick. I used there recommended solicitors and there mortgage advisor which I really believe speeded the process through as did my buyers. I must start by saying I have been genuinely moved by the care and consideration that Daisy showed my partner and I when finding our home and assisting with the process,from countless viewings to the tons of nitty gritty questions that we had, nothing phased her or was too much trouble and I am endlessly grateful to her for providing us this first class service. We have always been very sensitive and particular in home moves and although we haven't had many before I have struggled to find a agent who has the time and efforts to meet our needs. SHARON EDEVANE : Without Sharon's persistence and insistence and pure professional approach, our lengthy six-month sale might never have completed. She was so determined to finalise things on our behalf, absolutely putting us as clients first all the time. Our sale and purchase went down to the last minute, both for exchange and completion. The solicitors who acted for our buyer seemed exceptionally incompetent, requesting signatures at the moment of exchange. This was delayed by the solicitor not being in office on the day we were supposed to exchange (7th December) and then demanding signatures twice from our buyer on the Monday and Tuesday of the following week. We finally exchanged on Thursday 13th December! If Sharon had not physically obtained these signatures and followed everything through, we would have not managed our purchase. It is shocking how delayed everything was due to some people simply not doing their job. Thank you Sharon, your staff were also very supportive - but you are a STAR.
