We couldn't rate Jayne, Lois and Ben highly enough. Ben was very professional when he came to value and take pictures of our house, explaining everything and ensuring we were happy before proceeding. Jayne and Lois have always been on hand to answer questions and to help keep our sale and purchase on track. Jayne even worked on a Sunday at points when needed (something we didn't expect) They add a personal touch which really helps to give you confidence and reassurance during a very stressful time. Skitts, Wolverhampton, great with communication from Lois with viewings to offer stage, Jayne has negotiated two sales for us since instructing them in October. The first sale unfortunately fell through because the purchasers chain fell through and Jayne negotiated another sale within 3 days of our house being back on the market. Sale is going through steadily at the moment but so far we are happy with service we have received from the beginning and have no doubt it will continue right up until completion. We would highly recommend using Skitts to sell your home.

I have dealt with: Ben -Surveyor, Jayne - Manager & Lois - Administration/Viewing My experience has been good throughout. Everyone is professional, friendly, polite and you can have a joke (which I find good). There is an efficient manner in which everything is done and you are kept up to date with proceedings. Misinformation from start to finish with my house sale. I was given a price of £1400 + VAT for conveyancing - no paperwork was left detailing this price. When another member of staff came to measure up and go through the contract with me I was informed it was £1800 + VAT for conveyancing. When I queried this I was told it had never been £1400. I had a cash buyer and a tight timescale, that Skirts assured me was workable. I had to chase constantly to make sure information was received. The sale was due to complete on 13th December. At 3pm on 12th December I was told that all of the buyers money had been received by his solicitor and we were just waiting for his solicitor to confirm this. I called back at 5pm to ensure the completion would go ahead next day. A quick call was made by Skitts to the buyer, who then advised that he had only paid a 10% deposit and it could take up to 3 days for the rest of the money to transfer. I was then assured by Skitts that completion could still go ahead as the 3 days to transfer was 'worse case scenario'. There was no apology for th gross misinformation. They then emailed my solicitor detailing another property - causing total confusion. Completion didn't happen until 11th January - a month later. This spoilt all my plans and meant I had another months council tax, heating bills etc to pay on the empty property. I spoke to Nick Rorison, a partner at Skirts who listened to my experience and promised to look into it. When he called me back later in the day he hadn't even bothered to speak to the branch manager who had been involved in my house sale. The person who mislead me, saying all the money had transferred, when it hadn't denied saying so. She also said another member of staff wouldnt have quotef £1400 for conveyancing. How did she know as she wasnt there? He said therefore there was nothing he could do. Thank-you for making me feel like a liar. Message to N Rorison - start recording all office calls, as most companies do, to back up customers (or staff) who have been misinformed/mistreated and thus improve your customer service.
