We just bought our house from this branch and the whole team was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout. We had alot of negative dealings with estate agents during our search, but it was the complete opposite with west Byfleet stirling ackroyd. Communication from Noah was amazing, he kept us up to date with the purchase and always took our calls. Really made a big life change alot easier! If we ever come to sell we will be strait back to them.

Awful company. Severe lack of professionalism and etiquette.

Awful company with a severe lack of professionalism and etiquette. We purchased a property through this agent, and their rudeness, constant threats, unprofessional emails, false accusations, and overall treatment of buyers are terrible. When raised with their area director, our email was ignored. In addition, their description of the property was inaccurate and they refused to hand over the keys on the day of completion, forcing us to go to the property and speak to the previous owners directly. I would never use or recommend this company. They turned what should have been an exciting period into a more stressful, anger-inducing experience. To add, they even contacted our estate agent and criticised us, the buyer, referring to us as liars. I have reported their actions to the Property Ombudsman.

This was our first time using an estate agents so was unsure what to expect. We initially viewed the property with Hayden who knew all the answers to the questions we had (there was a lot.) He helped us find exactly what we were looking for. We then mainly dealt with Max who was responsive, proactive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Darren Lowles - Simply the best

Let me start with Claire Donaldson. I loved her honesty in terms of marketing my property, and I truly think her input was a major benefit of the success of my house sale. Now let’s get to the star of the show, Darren Lowles. He was simply the best. Darren was responsible for showing potential buyers round, his ability to respect my wishes during viewings ( shoes off on entry, no photos without my permission, etc) was always perfect. We always had such a good banter each time we had to communicate with each other. I was genuinely sad when I knew our communication would end. Holding Deposit without reason

We were in a non-deposit scheme, and opted for leaving it. The company accepted our deposit, but at the end of the contract, they retained the money equivalent to as if we were to keep paying it. They recognize that it was a mistake, but after 3 months, there is no payment still. Every time we go there they say that they will solve it, but never happens.

We used Stirling Ackroyd after failing to sell our flat with three previous Estate Agents. Antonios and the team were attentive to what we needed, kept us updated on a regular basis without being too over the top in terms of communication, and ultimately was able to sell our property twice over (first buyer pulled out) over a 6 week period. Further along the process, Antonios, Noah and Sophie were all on hand to assist with getting our sale over the line despite a lengthy solicitor back and forth. We started the process of putting the property on the market at the end of April & it was all wrapped up and completed by mid August. I used their West Byfleet office and dealt mostly with Dan/Daniel. He constantly kept me updated, he was constantly chasing solicitors for updates. I thought that the days of High Street Estate Agents were numbered due to the proliferation of internet-based Estate Agents and I was initially minded to use them. However, my experience with Stirling Ackroyd Estate Agents changed all that. We had intermittent difficulties during the sale of our property, both big and small. But throughout, Stirling Ackroyd was there at the centre of each problem to resolve it. Mr Antonios Kozakis was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much for him. Anyone who has gone through the process of buying and selling knows the stress and worries involved. Mr Kozakis was very proactive in calling everyone involved in the process to get to ball rolling. He also provided the calm, professional and friendly re-assurance that are needed in such stressful and uncertain circumstances, which helped a lot. Then it was Harry who again was so helpful friendly that we dealt with mostly, very professional, he really was on the ball and nothing was too much trouble for him. She always phones me to explain any issues and then keeps me updated until any issues are resolved. I want to express my gratitude to your team, especially Matthew, Hayden, and Ben, for helping me find a place that I am extremely satisfied with. From the start, when Matthew first contacted me, I shared my frustration about being repeatedly rejected after making offers, even though I had clearly stated that I had pets. It was evident that previous agents hadn’t paid close attention to my needs, as I specifically needed a landlord who was pet-friendly. This wasted a lot of my time and energy, and I was feeling a bit discouraged. Matthew, however, truly listened to my concerns. He quickly responded with a unit that was guaranteed to accept pets and arranged for a viewing. Knowing I had a long journey to get there, he was flexible enough to send me a video tour of the property first, allowing me to confirm my interest before making the trip. This saved me a lot of time. Hayden from the team then took me for an in-person viewing, and I was immediately satisfied with the place and decided to make an offer. Hayden efficiently handled the negotiations, and we quickly reached an agreement that both sides were happy with, allowing me to move in with peace of mind. Another thing I truly appreciate is the seamless coordination within the entire team. While we were handling the paperwork, Hayden happened to be on leave, but Matthew stepped in to cover for him. Matthew continued assisting me with the rental process, so I didn’t have to wait for Hayden to return. This flexible approach to work really stood out to me. I hope the head office recognizes the strength of this team, perhaps a reward is in order, haha! Ben was responsible for the payment process, and he was incredibly professional and patient, guiding me through the entire payment procedure. Everything with SA was so smooth. Sheldan Bechie​​​​, Letting Consultant was AMAZING! He was quick to arrange several viewings into one day, which is extremely helpful when you have a busy schedule. He drove us around and I was extremely happy when he found the perfect one. From that point onwards, the team's communication was great, with them arranging a call with the landlord and efficiently completing all the referencing and admin work within a week. Delays - Due to poor report

Having used Stirling Ackroyd to value our houses via MHBS, we would not recommend this company. It took their surveyor six attempts to write a satisfactory report for MHBS before funds were released, causing a long delay and issues with our New builders having to find other financial routes to keep our new build project going. There were no issues with the LTV but poorly written report caused delays
