What an excellent service from David Moore Lettings. David, Liz and Joanne were all extremely informative and helpful; what is usually a quite stressful time was made that much easier with their help. David's expert knowledge of the local housing market and the properties he represents ensured my partner and I were thoroughly prepared. Liz and Joanne provided timely and accurate information to any questions I had and prepared the contract quickly, explaining the process from start to finish. If you are looking to rent in the Oxfordshire area I highly recommend checking out David Moore Lettings.

I would be seriously concerned about the safety of anyone renting from this letting agency. They let us a property that had life threatening concerns (one example is the only door to exit a second story property having shifted so much only one person in our family was physically strong enough to open it - an obvious fire hazard that existed at the point of move in). When we moved out they tried to keep our deposit to pay for renovations/upgrades to the property that were clearly noted as being present on the move-in assessment. When we argued it (with photo evidence) they threatened to take us to arbitration. As soon as we told David Moore we would be happy to present our evidence in arbitration they gave us back the entire deposit. I don’t think anyone appreciates being threatened with empty lies. Staff is unhelpful and has no knowledge of the properties. Also, the properties currently being advertised are using out of date photos that don’t accurately represent the state of the home. Since there is no option to rebuttal replies from the agency, I will put this here. Several reviews below state that David Moore is demeaning and you can clearly see that to be accurate from the way he is comfortable speaking to clients when they leave a review. A better approach would be to rectify the many issues raised here. There’s a reason this letting agency has only 3 stars, as another person has said, reviews don’t lie. I do truly hope, David, that you can find time to reflect on the truths that have been spoken here by many people and move on more positively in the future.

My boiler broke earlier in the week and the lovely people at David Moore quickly got someone out the same day. Unfortunately the part wasn't available for a few days during a particularly cold snap, they kept on chasing to try and get the part sooner, offered to get me some heaters. Basically, they were really on it and I feel like if ever something were to go wrong, they're quick and efficient and also super friendly which I love. Thanks guys!

Don't waste your time or money using this agency. Next to no communication, left us in the freezing cold throughout winter because they couldn't be bothered to email us back leaving us with a cold damp home. Chased us for identification for us living in the house 6 months after moving in, something we provided when we signed the lease, clearly no organisation and massive lack of professionalism. Such a sour taste left from using this agency & if we had read reviews prior to renting we would've steered clear.

Terrible ! Rented many times many different agents and never have they been as shambolic as david moore. Trying to get ahold of them when you need to pretty much impossible. Got no heating or hot water in winter try being given the run around for a week and then when the landlord does contact you he hasn't really got a clue whats happening, thanks david. If they want something from you they'll pester and hound you non stop even finding reasons to try and pop round but when you ask them something simple as any updates on my deposit ? Nothing , nada just no reply. They're even taking things from the deposit that were not mentioned or photographed on the final inspection to add insult to injury. Maybe one day david will reply about the deposit who knows ? The property's not up for let online anymore so perhaps the new tenants are in and he's trying to pocket it wouldn't put it past him. Use a reputable letting agent save the headache

NEVER use this agency

This letting agency is so unsafe. I have never been treated so terribly. The owner actually threatened us and then backed down when he realized we weren’t going to be intimidated into giving him money illegally. They let us a property with multiple fire safety issues. Please, for your own safety, avoid at all costs.

This is a lovely independant letting agency who have very friendly staff. I was given really useful information and assistance that made the search for property very easy.
